A tenured professor at New Jerseys Rutgers University took self-loathing to a new level when he posted a profanity laden racist rant to Facebook declaring, I hereby resign from my race.
Professor James Livingston, who is white, was picking up a burger from a restaurant in Harlem, New York, when he was so affronted by the behavior of a group of little Caucasian a**holes that he felt the overwhelming need to take to social media and denounce his own race:
OK, officially, I now hate white people, Livingston began his post.
He continued to say the burger shop was overrun with little Caucasian aholes who know their parents will approve of anything they do.
Do what you want, nobody here is going to restrict your right to be white, Livingston wrote.
He then added: I hereby resign from my race. F these people.
Surprisingly, Facebook removed the post but Livingston followed it up with another:
I just dont want little Caucasians overrunning my life, as they did last night, he wrote in a post the following morning. Please God, remand them to the suburbs, where they and their parents can colonize every restaurant, all the while pretending that the idiotic indulgence of their privilege signifies cosmopolitanyou know, as in sophisticated Europeancommitments.
Ill take social posturing via self-loathing for $100, Alex.
There is one reason and one reason only that Livingston decided to blame the childrens poor behavior on the color of their skin: he wanted to earn brownie points with his fellow SJWs. Instead of blaming the actual issue poor parenting he chalked it up to white privilege in effort to signal how incredibly woke he is especially for a white person.
But unfortunately for Livingston, administrators at Rutgers didnt feel the same. After looking into the posts, the university found him guilty of violating Rutgers Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and Harassment. Livingston subsequently appealed the ruling, but it was denied. A punishment has yet to be announced, but the policy allows for disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
Unsurprisingly, many people and organizations including the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education are taking up arms for Livingston. Just look at this tweet from PEN America:
Rutgers' response to Professor James Livingston's personal Facebook posts denouncing gentrification and whiteness reflects a wrong-headed approach that threatens free expression. Read our full statement here: https://t.co/xL2KLsCMfa pic.twitter.com/vH0P526BEZ

Yes, denouncing whiteness is protected speech under the First Amendment, and perhaps reprimanding Livingston is a wrong-headed approach that threatens free expression. But can you imagine the liberal outrage that would erupt if anyone was caught denouncing blackness on their personal Facebook page?
However, at least one other party agrees with Rutgers decision: the restaurant itself, which has banned Livingston from ever eating there again.
Dr. Livingston, I presume?
ha ha ha...
It does appear that the Ivies turn out a lot of credentialed fools.
Perhaps the restaurant does a lot of business with Columbia students (many/most of whom are white), which is in Harlem, and they don’t want him dissing their customer base.
I will presume that when people post the letters RT in reference to this guy they mean ReTweet.
Southside Chicago, OK.
MLK Blvd, OK
But I wouldn’t wish a Chucky Cheese on anyone
My brother says he wouldn’t go in there to throw up.
Hammer and Sickle.
It was only in the 1920s that the demographics, there, changed. And in the past few decades, whites have been moving there, so it's now quite a "diverse" neighborhood.
And since he teaches in Jersey...what was he doing in Harlem anyway, don't the have burger joints in N.J.?
Hates being white. What a maroon.
He was employed by Rutgers because New Jersey would hire anyone who’s breathing (prime example: My ex sister in law).
Agreed. Autism may be related to older age of mom giving birth...i wonder if libtardism or mental disease is related to some type of gestational abnormality...just sayin’...
Yeah, and guess what the kid’s name was...:)
He said he was doing takeout, so seems pretty obvious that he lives in Harlem, commutes out to Rutgers. In other words, he’s made a point out of being a white guy living in Harlem. A perfect case for someone to start feeling that white guilt!
Please arrange to have that fun adventure filmed.
He's a hypocrite and an idiot.

A little ditty from my youth:
Black is beautiful
Tan is grand
But white is the color
Of the big boss man!
When this yoyo makes a similar statement about why Roseanne should still be on TV, I might think he actually stands for something other than hot air...
Liberalism is a sickness.
