Police are searching for a mystery woman - wearing what looked like broken wrist restraints - who was filmed ringing a doorbell in Texas. The night-caller, apparently barefoot and semi-clothed, was captured on a surveillance camera approaching a home in Montgomery County

Those cheap restraints just aren't worth the savings.

A worse case scenario....a woman who escaped being held captive in the area.

Jeebus, I see this, and the big neon sign “women are trouble” is just blinding me.
Thank god a guy didn’t answer the door. Whole lotta trouble just appeared on his doorstep and whoever lived there sidestepped it.

Mystery as woman in T-shirt and possibly shackles appears on Texas homeowner’s doorstep

It could be a human trafficking case. Most people are unaware that there have been increasingly many incidents of kidnapping involving human trafficking. Often, the women are quickly taken from their home country to another country.
We need more sting operations with trained women (police) wearing trackers and advertised as bait with men waiting around them to arrest the kidnappers, take them in for interrogating, etc.

We had this same scenario in our retirement community this past year, only it was a man. He was going around ringing doorbells in the middle of the night and running off. The local PD never did catch him and he suddenly stopped doing it. Surprised he didnt get shot.
My guess is that he was mentally unstable and his family finally and quietly reigned him in.

As kidnappers and human traffickers read Internet discussion boards, they might see that it's easiest to take girls from middle class or upscale neighborhoods.
Because residents in those neighborhoods have unanimously indicated that they are too afraid of answering their doors for girls trying to escape.

Many of the human traffickers are from very poor and corrupt countries. Eventually, they’ll probably start snatching older women from sidewalks, while they’re walking their dogs (easy targets).
