Even worse - her captors may have recaptured her before she could find help.

That's what I was thinking.
If she was drugged or starving it might explain her odd behavior and apparent disorientation.
If so, let's hope she wasn't recaptured by her assailant.

A worse case scenario....a woman who escaped being held captive in the area. Horrible to consider.....ladies if you ever did find yourself in that situation don't count on people answering their door especially in the middle of the night, set off car alarms, break windows, whatever. Hell, throwing yourself threw a window might be a better option than being recaptured.....
