Police are searching for a mystery woman - wearing what looked like broken wrist restraints - who was filmed ringing a doorbell in Texas.
The night-caller, apparently barefoot and semi-clothed, was captured on a surveillance camera approaching a home in Montgomery County.
By the time the householder answered, she was gone. The resident reviewed the security footage and sent it to police.
Montgomery County Sheriff is looking into the "suspicious incident".

Jeebus, I see this, and the big neon sign “women are trouble” is just blinding me.
Thank god a guy didn’t answer the door. Whole lotta trouble just appeared on his doorstep and whoever lived there sidestepped it.
If she was drugged or starving it might explain her odd behavior and apparent disorientation.
If so, let's hope she wasn't recaptured by her assailant.
as a kid in the 50’s we called that “RDBAR”
“What do you want to do tonight, RDBAR”
They may want to give the cadaver dogs a run through Sam Houston NF....
Have you heard about the Midnight Rambler?
......
Or the Midnight Flyer.......
Some are saying she maybe from as far away as Canada....

Gotcha! I have three sons.
.
Well, let’s imagine a negative plot. Maybe she is a lure to get the man of the house outside while her boyfriend gets in the house. I think most of us would be leery of opening the door for her. I would call the cops quickly and pray that they would be quick. The delay tells her that cops are being called and she disappears.
I’d hit that partially-clad mystery doorbell-ringer.
The Sheriff ‘s Dept. asked everyone to share the video, it looks like they did.
It looks to me as if she might be carrying keys in her right hand on a long string or lanyard..
My first thought. God help her if it is that scenario
Thats presumably the restraint fastened around her wrist that was broken.
Nowadays one first needs to suspect a ruse for a home invasion.
Would
It appears to be a restraint of some sort that she has broken
The 7 sec video at the website shows it more clearly than this photo
I'v also heard it called Ding Dong Ditch.
A photo here shows bandages or tape under the shackles.
Mystery as woman in T-shirt and possibly shackles appears on Texas homeowner’s doorstep

It could be a human trafficking case. Most people are unaware that there have been increasingly many incidents of kidnapping involving human trafficking. Often, the women are quickly taken from their home country to another country.
We need more sting operations with trained women (police) wearing trackers and advertised as bait with men waiting around them to arrest the kidnappers, take them in for interrogating, etc.
We had this same scenario in our retirement community this past year, only it was a man. He was going around ringing doorbells in the middle of the night and running off. The local PD never did catch him and he suddenly stopped doing it. Surprised he didnt get shot.
My guess is that he was mentally unstable and his family finally and quietly reigned him in.
Laz?
