I am officially voting Branson as it is the most likely city to get hubby to agree to visit.

Good deal.
Branson/Missouri Ozarks area is actually my second choice of the places named.
I’m not into country music, but I’ve always wanted to see what the Ozarks are like, and there seems to be a number of interesting places around there for side trips.

I vote Little Rock, home of WJC as well as home of the Ar FBI office where the Clinton Whitewater docs are held. A BBQ outside the F_I HQ? Might even have indictments to celebrate!.......

yes, ‘Nooga is a good location also. Lots of activity here, especially outdoor activity.
I could probably get a group together and head up to Dead Zero shooting park for some rifle, pistol, and clay shooting.

Concur. We can also start making and selling "Mt. Trumpmore" souvenir T-shirts, to benefit FR, right?
Make it two (2) votes for Mt. Rushmore!

The meet-up will not take place until April at the earliest.
Which one? Chattanooga or Branson
Branson, I think, so far has one more vote than Chattanooga and may be acceptable to those people who voted for St. Louis.

I vote for Mammoth Cave area in Kentucky. The Cave is awesome (the largest cave system in the world), the surrounding area is beautiful and the gorgeous thoroughbred horse farms are not far away - not to mention the Bourbon Trail with tours of different historic bourbon distilleries. It's not too far of a drive to the Creation Museum with a replica of Noah's Ark.
Kentucky is a nice conservative state too!

I vote for Mt. Rushmore area, although I don’t know if I’ll be able to come.
To: CheshireTheCat
C-Cat;
I Don't do a lot of driving anymore.
If I came, Kansas City, StLouis, & Branson would be best.
Rapid city (Mt. Rushmore or Omaha, maybe Oklahoma City I might try.
To: Pete from Shawnee Mission
Please pick one city.
Of the ones you mentioned, St. Louis and Branson each already have more votes than KC and OK City. Omaha has none. Mt. Rushmore has the most.
