The celebrity columnist died last night in Cabo San Lucas at age 76 after suffering a second stroke.
His "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" with Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous was syndicated for over a decade, starting in 1984 and helped launch Entertainment Tonight.
Don't miss the brief appearance of OUR FAVORITE GUY at second 22 in Leach's video intro for Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
Memories..!

RIP. I liked this guy. Saw him around Vegas a lot, always seemed like a straight shooter, don’t know much about him, other than his feature about some real estate mogul named Donald Trump back in the 80s, which seemed pretty favorable.

Good family fun entertainment without politics - he will be missed as well as what he brought to us.

Rest in peace. The only time I saw him was in a paid video promotion for The Villages in Florida, where my parents moved in the late 1990s.

RIP Robin. My favorite quote of his:

If I had a stroke I don’t think I’d stay near a Mexican hospital for the second one.
Just sayin’.
To: gaijin
I thought he’s been dead for a few years already.
Champagne wishes, sir! My family loved your show back in the 80s when it wasn’t considered evil to watch rich people show off.
To: gaijin
He’ll have all the champagne he can drink now.
