Shelley Fabares - Lost Summer Love
"Great song and a beautiful young lady. The lyrics are especially true today. Summertime in our youth in the 60s. Optimistic and a future filled with promise. Sigh. Class and innocence. Can't find that in the female singers today. Where is my time machine?"

She is still with us, after receiving a liver transplant in 2000.
She is married to Liberal moonbat actor Mike Farrell.
Her last notable work was on the 90’s TV series Coach.

The girl singers/groups did some outstanding stuff from the late 50s to the mid 60s.I was in my early teens then and I'd listen to the lyrics to find out what girls were about.
A much more innocent era for sure.

Wasn’t Elvis nailing her back in the day?

You never get to live in the country you grew up in.Seems that truer words were never spoken. I suspect that is a hundred or thousand times more true today than ever before. Leftists are tearing society apart.
Sealed With a Kiss was a better tune by her.

Reportedly, Elvis “nailed” every female who ever co-stared in his movies, except one. Mary Tyler Moore, by her own admission.

Shelley Fabares in a classic T-Bird. She matured into a very beautiful woman and funny actress (see: Coach), and why Ford didn't just keep building two seat sports cars under the Thunderbird name, a'la Chevy and the Corvette, instead of building larger beasts (same thing they did for decades with the Mustang) and an over priced two seat revival in the early 2000's, I'll never understand.
