Dear NFL,
I have been a lifelong fan since the age of 10 – That’s more than 50 years….
I have followed many players, and only two teams in my life.
The players I have followed have always been the “stand up for the flag” kind of players, I mean it just figures because I was drawn to serve my country – Not because I had to, or because it was my only option. I chose to serve out of nothing more than the pure love of my country.
After serving onboard ships for nine years and three years with the SEABEEs I can honestly say I have probably seen more of the world then 100 NFL players combined and I can tell you there is NO better country on this earth than the good ol’e United States of America (warts and all). No matter where I was, I couldn’t wait to get home.
In particular, my love for this country’s fly over states is unrivaled, because, in my opinion, that is where America is, that is where you find the heartbeat of America, where every Friday night at football games all over this country people still stand, put their hat over their heart and proudly sing along with the National Anthem, proudly!!
NFL, if you are ashamed of our flag and our national anthem and you feel that it is ok to disrespect what so many have fought, bled, and died for then you leave me no choice but to put my money back in my wallet and walk away from the NFL.
NFL, with all that said, I can assure you that I may not mean that much to you, I’m only one fan, but for me and my family, co-workers, other veterans, and my relatives, and their relatives and in-laws, we won’t have it, we will not tolerate disrespecting the flag or the national anthem.
It is true, players may have the right to “protest” but I have the right to not tolerate their BS and support what I consider to be a middle finger to my face!!
So, NFL, you have a choice to make….F this up and I am never coming back!

Hear here!. I am already planning all the things I will get done by stopping ALL NFL television around this home. The disdain the spoiled rich players and owners have for America is exposed and it is very ugly.

I support Free Speech as a Vet. I put in 23 years, so this is no small deal for me. Free Speech is either free or not.
I also understand that Free Speech can carry a high price for the speaker.

A lot of men still need the comfort of their sports zones and sports buddies. They won’t leave the NFL — it’s a safe space for many men, where they are allowed their opinions, have common ground with other men, and get away from bothersome stuff and physical activities.
But many are leaving the NFL, primarily patriots.
The NFL and Rodger Goodell can kiss my ass and go to hell.
Go find someplace else to earn your millions, jackwads!
TV contracts are long term and stretch out many years. They alone can float the NFL for years.
Season ticket sales, Sunday Ticket sales and merchandise sales are short term year to year. The pinch is on.
What does the future hold for the NFL?
Consider the recent fortunes of the NFL’s biggest supporter and SJW apologist network, ESPN. They have no long term revenue stream. Now losing cable subscribers by the thousands...monthly!
Geez...just make the decision to leave that much harder.
