Assuming guns were allowed into the concert area (I strongly doubt it); what exactly do you think they could have shot at with a handgun? Could they see where it was coming from? Not from what I heard. Even so; it would have been far out of range for a handgun. It would have been reckless to try.
I’m thinking the night vision goggles and AR’s/AK’s were left at home on concert night.
Now everyone can make up their own reasons why he did it, which is even better.
I don’t believe it. Somewhere, they had to have come across some statements, or online activity, or things on a home computer that indicate some animus toward some group or type of people.
To me, Paddock and his history makes him look and sound like either an FBI or CIA asset, or both.
And we’re supposed to believe the “official” story, when the FBI put McCabe in charge of the investigation?

Well how did they explain the acoustic analysis showing two poins for gunfire origin.
One at 350 approx yards and another at approx 250 yards....
How did they address 3 choppers in the area of Mandalay and Tropicana not flying the normal tourist route. In fact two near the Mandalay were flying south to north in violation of FAA rules and then went dark....

Why did he only fire for 10 minutes... or was he already dead and the other person exited to escape.. Eyewitnesses said shots were fired in the venue and initial police tapes talk about shooter at gate 7 (where the show vans were parked) and also at the sw corner whre the cop was shot.. Who were the people on the roofs of rv’s at the venue in black outfis and who was the individual with a rifle on the roof of the Tropicana.. exactly when shots fired were reported inthat area..?? And what about the shots fired after Paddock was dead..

Nah. Vegas is fine. I mean its entire existence is based on separating money from the tourists but they usually give something back in return like a show or some time on the one armed bandit.
In all the years Vegas has been there; nothing like this ever happened before that I can remember. The town is corrupt by nature as is its politicians but they leave the tourists alone. In fact they go out of their way to protect the tourists since they are its bread and butter.
I agree something was really hinkey about this shooting though. It just doesn't add up unless they guy, at his age, just went bonkers. It happens. It just happened to a 65 yo guy who killed a doctor over a 20 year grudge that he blamed the doc for not saving his mother. They finally cornered him where he took his own life saving the taxpayers millions of dollars. He looked like he had planned to go out fighting though since he was wearing a bullet proof vest.
...and why were there long pauses between salvos as if a single mag is being reloaded and reused - if the attack was supposed to have been planned and premeditated by Paddock, he would have had numerous charged mags ready for use.
