Nah. Vegas is fine. I mean its entire existence is based on separating money from the tourists but they usually give something back in return like a show or some time on the one armed bandit.
In all the years Vegas has been there; nothing like this ever happened before that I can remember. The town is corrupt by nature as is its politicians but they leave the tourists alone. In fact they go out of their way to protect the tourists since they are its bread and butter.
I agree something was really hinkey about this shooting though. It just doesn't add up unless they guy, at his age, just went bonkers. It happens. It just happened to a 65 yo guy who killed a doctor over a 20 year grudge that he blamed the doc for not saving his mother. They finally cornered him where he took his own life saving the taxpayers millions of dollars. He looked like he had planned to go out fighting though since he was wearing a bullet proof vest.
...and why were there long pauses between salvos as if a single mag is being reloaded and reused - if the attack was supposed to have been planned and premeditated by Paddock, he would have had numerous charged mags ready for use.
