FULL TITLE: Patty Murray: “Women are More Able to Participate Equally in Our Country” If They Can Abort Their Babies

Imagine a senior elected official standing on the U.S. Senate floor and asserting that women will never enjoy the same equality as men unless they are allowed to neglect or abandon their children.

Substitute “neglect/abandon” with the word “abort” and that basically was U.S. Sen. Patty Murray’s speech Wednesday, outlining her opposition to U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

The radical pro-abortion group NARAL, Planned Parenthood and others have labeled Kavanaugh’s nomination a “serious threat” to “women’s right to safe, legal abortion,” while national pro-life leaders have expressed high hopes for Kavanaugh and the future of unborn babies’ rights.

Murray, a pro-abortion Democrat from Washington state, focused on the abortion issue in her speech against Kavanaugh.

“Reproductive freedom means women are more able to participate equally and fully in our country,” she said. “I can’t adequately express how frustrating it is to have to assert this in the 21st century.”

Reproductive freedom is an umbrella term that abortion activists often use to disguise their support of abortion for any reason up to birth.

Murray continued: “Roe, and the rulings that have upheld it, make clear what women across the country know at their core to be true—that reproductive freedom is essential to a woman’s ability to control her future, plan her family, and contribute to her community in all the ways she may choose to …”

Murray claimed Kavanaugh does not trust women to make their own health care decisions – but by health care, she meant abortion. She also made it clear that she supports abortions for any reason up to birth, citing an example of a woman who aborted her unborn baby at six months of pregnancy because the baby had a heart defect.

“It was their family—their future—and her choice. She says she knows she did the right thing for her and her family, as difficult as it was …” Murray said.

Murray did not say why the decision was difficult, but most Americans know why. And it is the reason why a strong majority of Americans oppose late-term abortions. They realize that an abortion kills an unborn baby.

Abortion activists like Murray have been citing polls that indicate most Americans do not want the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, but these polls are deceptive. Polls consistently show that most Americans oppose what Roe did, allow abortions for basically any reason up to birth.

If Kavanaugh is confirmed to the Supreme Court, the high court will have a 5-4 conservative majority, and there are strong hopes that the justices would consider overturning Roe or at least allowing more restrictions on abortions.

Currently, nearly 1 million unborn babies are aborted every year in America. After more than 40 years of legalized abortion, many Americans – both women and men – still realize that freedom and equality can never be achieved by killing the weakest members of our society.

It’s one thing to talk of “equality” in various matters.

But there are some differences between men and women. And one of those is that, it is the women who give birth and have children.

No laws passed, or legal decrees from the likes of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, can ever change such realities.

So then, we need the likes of Patty Murray telling women that they need to abort to achieve some semblance of “equality”.

The thought process of these liberals is mind boggling.

She is reputed to be dumb as a box of rocks. One of the most shallow intellects in the US Senate. Let THAT sink in for a minute.

Many of us have been burdened with parents as the life cycle progresses. It is time consuming and detracts from our equal participation in the American Dream. Patty would not mind us murdering them. What say Patty? How can you people in Washington be so stupid?

I remember when Patti was first elected. Her schtick was “mom in tennis shoes.”

The only reason she’s there is that she has a vagina.

The crazy wing of the democratic party is crushing the insane wing. That is a good thing.

Crazy wing (also the Bernie wing): Everyone knows the D’s are whacky God hating Marxist socialists and it’s time to stand proud and say so.

Insane wing (also the Hillary wing): We know us D’s are whacky God hating Marxist socialists but we must appear to be thinking moderates.

A local couple starved their baby to death a few months ago.

That reminded me of the rhetoric of the abortion crowd "how terrible it is to be born into a family where you are not loved".

So if this Goblin couple had legally killed their baby before birth...then we'd be treated to still having those two evil people in society. How is that a good thing?

It’s too bad Patty Murray’s mother didn’t achieve some semblance of “equality” many, many years ago.

““Reproductive freedom means women are more able to participate equally and fully in our country,” “

What she is really sating is that idiots like me who stayed home to raise children were non-partcipants in this country.

I DID vote, obeyed the laws, and raised kids who became productive citizens.

I guess that doesn’t count for anything.

At its heart, Feminism is about killing babies and walking away from the concept of Motherhood.

“Women in the workplace” is a convenient “reason” to support Feminism, but jobs for women is not what Feminism is all about.

“Reproductive freedom means women are more able to participate equally and fully in our country,” she said.

Well Patty killing unborn babies is not freedom of any sort! You want to work, have a career, whatever, do it. Millions of women that have children do. You have the freedom to get pregnant or not get pregnant. Choices are freedom but they are also consequences.

Be that as it may, she represents the AVERAGE intellect of the female voter in the United States.

And again, I hate to bring this up, it’s the abdication of both accountability and reason here that is so striking.

So, what about men? Are men this vapid?

Maybe, however we don’t let men make life or death decisions about their children here in the US anymore. They have no say.

If women have sole authority, then they should also have sole responsibility - period. Financial responsibility first and foremost. Also, since the right to choose life or death is solely the right of the female, primary custody decisions should then fall primarily to the father to restore legal equity in the parental arrangement.

In cases of divorce, the presumption of custodial parentage should fall to the father first, and then the mother.

That is the abortion trade-off I’m waiting for. You squint real hard and read into the constitution the right to kill your own kids. OK. Real-world then, the counterbalancing right to make parenting decisions has to fall to fathers.

Reproductive freedom forever, but the end to economic slavery of the male US citizen through the financial strategy of marriage (marriage used to be a religious sacrament, then an institution, and now a financial strategy for women).

You defame and demean every box of rocks out there, by lowering them to the intellectual attainment of Patty Murray, an individual that has consumed FAR too much caffeine.

Abortion is not any special sacrament that prepares females to “compete” with males, when it comes to any field of endeavor. Amy Coney Barrett is living proof that a mother CAN do it all.

Patty Murray needs Jesus. We all do.

We are all accountable for our words and actions. I pray that she realizes the state of sin she is in and finds the Lord.
