60 billion RPM’s. How do you measure that?

Seems to me some Einstein-like "Time Dilation" could be involved here, in one form or another.

What force powers rotation at such a speed?

Careful with those theories! if they’re not good, reality rears its head and embarasses you!

Correction to my earlier post...

“The star rotates 716 times per second [2,577,600 per min]”

Make that: 42,960 per min.

I mistakenly multiplied by 3,600, instead of 60.

3,600 = number secs in an hour

They just bring in a good mechanic and he can tell by the way she “purrs”.

What force powers rotation at such a speed?

The momentum of photons, apparently.

Incidentally, visible light is generally light with a wavelength between 390 to 700 nanometers. This "rotor" is the length of mid to long wavelength ultraviolet.

What are the odds of that happening?

Probably pretty good ... at least on the time scale of an evaporating black hole—say, 10100 years.

That’s nothing.

Mitt Romney can rotate fundamental positions way faster than this.

Count how many times it turns in a second and multiply by 60

“One of the advantages of getting a nanoparticle suspended and rotating in a vacuum like this is that very precise measurements can be made, unaffected by the standard variations in air flow and temperature.”

Trying to negate the observer effect.

If the usual shitlib rats get violent after their epic losses in November, 2018 is going to look more like 1789.
