Allie Beth Stuckey and CRTV are facing criticism Tuesday over a satirical interview with rising Democratic Socialist star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Ms. Stuckey and CRTV released a parody interview with the Democratic nominee from the Bronx Monday night. The nearly 2½-minute video strings together clips from Ms. Ocasio-Cortez‘s viral interview with Margret Hoover on PBS’ “Firing Line.”
The video cuts back and forth between the footage from PBS and separately recorded video of Ms. Stuckey. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s answers from “Firing Line” were rearranged to match questions and comments posed by Ms. Stuckey.

Cortez needs to buck up, visit Venezuela and ‘splain to the rest of us how she doesn’t wish Venezuela on America.
She accused her rival party of “faking videos and presenting them as real on Facebook because they can’t deal with reality anymore.”
Reality? You live in the fantasy world of socialism! What would you know about reality!

Generally, I’m not a fan of ambush interview. They are inherently dishonest.
She really is an embarrassment for the national party, like a female Al Sharpton. They may need her to get Deep Ghetto votes, but otherwise she must be kept under wraps.

Oh, yes! This is socialism which wrote the book of tyranny and intolerance towards anyone not endorsing their view of everything. They have no humor and what they try to pass as humor is seen every night on the leftist comedy shows on American TV. It is cruel and merciless and never lets up.

Heheheh. Ummm, "parody" is "not real" material. Like Trump saying at a rally, "I'll pay your legal defense" isn't a serious offer, nor is "Hey Russia, if you are listening, maybe you can get Hillary's e-mail" a serious request.
When the right does parody, the left claims the effort is not parody, but instead a reflection of what the right really and truly believes or wants.
