I really think the ‘little kids (especially boys)’ started in the 50’s. Read about Tommy Kirk. He was booted from Disney when he was found in a swimming pool getting close with another guy. It has been going on for decades. And while you’re at it, look up Corey Haim. Sickening.

Inasmuch as Puzo's fiction was based in part on real people, this scene implies that this has been a problem with perverted powerful men for a LONG time.
