FULL TITLE: Don't mess with the Queen's guard! The moment a guardsman violently shoves a female tourist out of his way after she stepped over a rope into his path outside Windsor Castle
This is the moment a shocked tourist was pushed out of the way by a member of the Queen's Guard at Windsor Castle.
The women, who had crossed a rope barrier, screamed in shock as she was shoved from behind by the soldier, who was wearing his ceremonial bearskin hat.
The tourist was not injured and managed to remain on her feet despite the incident which took place at the Queen's official residence.

The Queen’s guards are not decorations..................
They are there for a reason.
That is why they call them GUARDS.
What a tool.
Good for the guard.
Those men are trained and ready.
I don’t know how they put up with the tourists...a good many of whom are most probably Americans.
Having studied in the UK for three years, it was amazing to see how loud and obnoxious the tourists from here were.
Guess she watched the I Love Lucy episode...
Deep-cover terrorist, or stupid tourist?
You don’t have time to stop and think about it.
Try a British expat page - it goes two ways, believe me.
As General Russel L. Honoré would say: She’s stuck on stupid.
No means no.
“Having studied in the UK for three years, it was amazing to see how loud and obnoxious the tourists from here were.”
That is unfair because a lot of people who come here from other places are very rude too. It’s not just Americans going there.
Sheese don’t get me started on every Muslim who comes here from where every
I could go on but you get the picture. Every culture thinks the other is rude and to a certain degree they might be.
One thing is for sure this woman is big enough to know better where ever she was from.
I give up, that’s one of the worst sites on the internet, Never did get the video to play.
The rope is there for a reason, stupid woman...
Or any muslim that enters any country in the world.
LOL, I never click...I learned by ALWAYS regretting it. Only youtube links for me.
When I visited the the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier a toddler got away from his mother and ran towards the guard. The guard shouted “halt” and pointed his rifle at the kid and said “Madam, please control your child.”
No need of that as a soldier. He could have easily marched around her.
If she were standing in the way facing him the push would have been justified.
This was an assault on a women and a battery. It was not justified.
If she had suffered damages, then she would have been entitled to damages. She was an invitee, the public being invited to this location. The fact that she stepped over the rope would only have influenced the amount of damages she would have received as a court award, if she was injured.
This is no laughing matter. If she had landed flat on her face there would have been some big bucks changing hands. The soldier should have been admonished by his C.O., and likely was.
As to the tomb of the unknown soldier in DC,, anyone interfering with that ceremony would be arrested and quietly taken away.If they resisted such arrest then they would be met with the force necessary to make an arrest. An arrest is legal. What this soldier did was not, even in England.
Plenty of YouTube videos showing Arlington Tomb Guards dressing down disrespectful visitors. After watching a few, I have decided that the Tomb Guards must never be female. Ever. There is no substitute for that deep, bass voice commanding “silence and respect”.
But they wear those silly hats.... :-)
