But the Liebian Building in southwest part of the country has turned the spout on a 350-gusher that flows from the side of the structure down to a public plaza in the citys central business district
The electricity needed to keep the monstrous mountain of water flowing costs about $118 per hour.
Its quite novel, one local told Kanka News. If you do it on a hot day, it will feel very comfortable. It is still very eye-catching.

I do hope the building does not warp too much from the temperature differential between the opposite side?
On the plus side, this is simply a non-traditional evaporative cooler for the condenser water.
Just think of the savings$$$
On the minus side see #4 re: Legionella
Im guessing the waterfall also generates a lot of noise for the office occupants.
Everyone knows that falling water is soothing and relaxing.
Just check out that Frank Lloyd guy. You skeptic.
Some poor sucker is going to have to clean the hard water stains...
NO,NO!
Pls see #4
Yes, burdensome regulations and a growing welfare state are causing other countries to surpass the U.S. in terms of infrastructure.
The most beautiful skyscrapers, airports, bridges and other infrastructure are no longer being built in the USA.
It's going to take a lot more than Donald Trump to set things right. I love what Trump is doing but he's one man and sometimes I think he is all alone.
No.
It’s “white noise” though, which tends to muffle harsh sounds. Lots of products made solely to generate “white noise” are readily available.
(Oops, “white” = “beneficial”: racist! I guess I’m off to Sensitivity Training!)
Its also hugely wasteful.
It’s public art!
Ever see the St Louis Arch, Chiraq Picasso or worse still the famous State of Illinois building?
...Now get with the program.
PS, I do miss the SPINDLE!

Not at all.
Damn, looking at that picture, its clear that someone forgot and left the bath water running.
They build skyscrapers and destroyers, we build/make nothing....
We are going in that direction.

Thats one way to cut plumbing costs...
Some nice panoramic urinals!
Be careful of the backsplash on the lower floors!
But that might affect the ice climbing.
Also, the mist-cooled patio lunches.
Its not artistically pleasing.
The progs have been destroying the country for a hundred years. We knew before the election that bringing it back wasn’t going to happen in four or eight years. If Trump can get some official momentum in cleaning up SCOTUS and The Swamp, that’s a start.
OK that is pretty cool
Its not artistically pleasing.
From my POV it should have cascaded down paired stepped sides at 90 degrees.
Dealing with pounding water is generally to be avoided.
That said, we are so far behind, some Asian country will soon have one; if this one is popular.
Perhaps engineered in the USA? Maybe not.
I feel the same about Dubai.
“They build skyscrapers and destroyers, we build/make nothing”
When once in Europe I noticed the increased variety in constructed things - bridges, buildings, what have you.
A civil engineer said there are numerous independent design companies in Europe, whereas there are very few large design companies in the US which results in more variety there and less here.
My personal belief is that Europeans like artistry and variety more than we do.
Conspicuous Consumption is Conspicuous.
When water line brakes call it a waterfall until maintenance arrives.
It's happened before...
