Samantha Bee Orders Women to 'Get Maximum Hysterical’ Over Kavanaugh

Samantha Bee is demanding women take action against a man who could make abortion illegal. Or so she says.

On her show Full Frontal July 18, host Samantha Bee ordered women to get “hysterical” over President Trump’s pick for next Supreme Court Justice: federal judge Brett Kavanaugh. She needn’t worry – they already have. But Bee’s fuss over abortion sounds like crying “wolf” after she called pro-lifers “d**kheads” of “toxic bullsh*t” in 2016 – not to mention other abortion outbursts.

And there’s also that time she called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c***.” (Talk about looking out for women, as she says she’s doing here.)

For her Kavanaugh segment, Bee warned that “one of the most radical ways” he could change the court “is on abortion rights.” She slammed conservatives who “say we're being silly to assume he would overturn” Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court case the legalized abortion in the U.S.

To prove her point, she called out Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume for stressing that the “idea that people are going to die because of this” and “that abortion will be illegal everywhere” is “hysterical and overstated.”

Bee took issue with his words, even though, as the pro-life movement says, people already die in abortion – one person per abortion. Not to mention that overturning Roe v. Wade would leaves abortion up to the states, rather than ban abortion “everywhere.”

“Well, I wasn't hysterical before Brit Hume told me not to be,” Bee said, “but now I'm having 10 periods simultaneously.”

She had a special message for “Brit-ney.”

“If you're going to call us crazy bitches, maybe don't use a word that literally means ‘suffering of the womb,’” she bashed, referring to the word “hysteria.” “All the Republicans have done for years is rail against abortion and now, suddenly, we're hysterical for taking them at their word?"

The jabs kept coming after she played a clip of CNN anchor Jake Tapper correcting President Trump after he mistakenly said he was “pro-choice” instead of “pro-life.”

“Damn it!” Bee exclaimed, before mocking Trump. “Imagine if Jake Tapper just hadn't corrected him. We’d have tremendous abortions, the best abortions.”

Still, even through the humor, she urged that Americans need to take Trump seriously, even though he’s a “compulsive liar” with a “right-wing organization,” the Federalist Society, backing Kavanaugh.

While she later admitted that Roe v. Wade “might not get completely overturned,” she argued it “will at least get tipped over” with Kavanaugh. That’s because those “anti-choicers” might “use any abortion case to weaken it.” She pointed to certain states that limit abortion with “extreme, cruel, and unconstitutional laws.”

Bee concluded with a call to action.

“If you're concerned about women losing a right we've had for a generation, be vocal about it. March, call your representatives, and for Lilith Fair's sake, vote,” she ordered. “You probably live in a state with a governor, a legislator or both, that are hostile to your abortion rights and if Roe falls, that is who decides what happens in your uterus.”

She added: “Now is the exact time to get maximum hysterical because if we don't, the future looks pretty sad for women and get ready for men to tell it to smile more.”

But Bee forgot she doesn’t speak for all women – most especially pro-life women and unborn women.

“Off topic but does anyone know:
1. When exactly did comedy and comedians become so overtly political?”

I read that it started during the Clinton administration. Clinton started regularly inviting Hollywood actors to the White House for social occasions. He’d pretend to listen intently to their ideas, and, of course, hit them up for money. He was hugely successful on getting money. After he left office and the Hollywood types were no longer getting invitations to the White House they became resentful, because, Clinton had made them feel important, so, therefore they were important. I read that Barbara Streisand has several top Democrats on speed dial and regularly calls them to “instruct” them. Nancy Pelosi was mentioned in an article as getting regular calls from Streisand. So, I blame Bill Clinton for the current state where every actor feels its important that we know where they stand.

“2. And why is it, that the jokes are always liberal, that you have to be liberal, to think this crap is funny?” You can actually find conservative humor, but I don’t think it gets the air play of liberal media because the venues are mostly owned by liberals. Jeff Foxworthy comes to mind.

“3. How is it, that these alleged comedians, just assume that their audience is liberal? Don’t they want the broadest possible viewership?” They truly see a world that is filtered to view only liberalism. The audiences pretty much know what they are getting into so conservatives stay away and liberals flock. The interesting thing is that liberal audiences frequently just applaud rather than laughing. That means they agree with what was said but that what was said was not funny. Sometimes they do misjudge their audiences. Gabriel Iglesias recently got boo’d off the stage when he went full anti-Trump. He wasn’t gracious about it, either. As to why they don’t want the widest possible audience? I’d say it’s because being liberal is more important than money. They are what they are in the same way an alligator is what it is. You’ll never find an alligator that self-identifies as a deer. (Although, now that I think about it, that will probably be a new addition to the alphabet people, Trans-deer, or TD.)

If they use up all their ‘maximum hysterical’ now, what are they gonna do when Buzzy kicks off?

the purpose of this comedy now is ridicule. DNLad all late night hosts ridicule conservatives and Trump and his family overnight and it undercuts the fiber of our society

Letterman insulted W every night and never said anything about Obama’s stuttering and saying 57 states. If Bosh said 57 states letterman would have gotten 2-3 months out of that.

Look at the repetitious drivel on SNL week after week on Trump. Same thing, same cliches week after week. The purpose is to ridicule and undermine.

I agree with you. I had satellite radio so I could listen to comedy on my long, late night drives to and from work. I cancelled the service because the “comedy” was all about bashing republicans and it wasn’t funny. That’s where I noticed that audiences didn’t laugh. They just applauded, meaning it wasn’t funny but they agreed. I haven’t watched any TV or listened to “comedy” in more than a decade. I wouldn’t recognize any modern actors or comedians.

seinfeld may be liberal. Not sure, but he works clean and mostly non-political

SamBee invokes the name of Lilith Fair which I googled; it’s the name of an all-female musical group/concert since 1990.

It’s also the name of the supposed first wife of Adam, mentioned in the Kabbalah & other works of the occult. Later reviled as a she-demon and snatcher of infants in the night. Popular today among Wiccans and Satanists.

Is THIS how SamBee sacralizes the evil practice of abortion and launches a campaign of hate against a distinguished jurist with whom she disagrees? It would seem so.

It’s a culture war, folks.

“When exactly did comedy and comedians become so overtly political?”

2000. The year I stopped going to comedy clubs anymore. Comedy isn’t a bunch of screaming liberals ranting about politics. That isn’t funny.

Abortion is religion to the leftists. Abortion is infanticide and societal suicide.
