AMBRIDGE, Mass. — Three-year-old twins Zyler and Kadyn Sharpe scurried around the boys and girls clothing racks of a narrow consignment store filled with toys. Zyler, wearing rainbow leggings, scrutinized a pair of hot-pink-and-purple sneakers. Kadyn, in a T-Rex shirt, fixated on a musical cube that flashed colorful lights. At a glance, the only discernible difference between these fraternal twins is their hair — Zyler’s is brown and Kadyn’s is blond.
Is Zyler a boy or a girl? How about Kadyn? That’s a question their parents, Nate and Julia Sharpe, say only the twins can decide. The Cambridge, Mass., couple represent a small group of parents raising “theybies” — children being brought up without gender designation from birth. A Facebook community for these parents currently claims about 220 members across the U.S.
“A theyby is, I think, different things to different people,” Nate Sharpe told NBC News. “For us, it means raising our kids with gender-neutral pronouns — so, ‘they,’ ‘them,’ ‘their,’ rather than assigning ‘he,’ ‘she,’ ‘him,’ ‘her’ from birth based on their anatomy.”

The parents are mentally insane whackjobs. Can only imagine what kind of neighbors they would be.
Well, I played “Superman” a lot, but 1., we didn’t have a barn; and 2., I was never naive enough to believe I could fly.
However, I did take “flying lessons” back in the 70’s, but it was in a Cessna 150.
And the only bone I ever broke was a little over a year ago when I fell and broke my hip...actually my Femur...had to have it replaced.
I’m 72.
With parents like that, I feel sorry for Zyler and Kadyn Sharpe who may never know a life of normalcy.

It is said that if you find a baby animal in the wild and try to raise it, it will never be able to survive in the wilds because humans can not teach a baby animal what the mama animal would teach it. I have a feeling that these poor children will never fit into society since they will not be taught the norms of our society.
I’ve noticed these days most female celebrities go out of their way to say that they aren’t ‘completely straight’, although I suspect in almost every case they have no intentions of sleeping with another woman, they just say it to ‘sound hip.’
Liberals are such bandwagon hopperoners.
They want to feel they belong so they will join any insane idea another liberal has.
We should start a new liberal behavior: Picking your nose in public and eating it. We should start social media campaigns. I bet within 30 days we could have every liberal picking their nose; in congress, in TV interviews, restaurants, everywhere.

I haven't read the article, but I'm wondering which one of them adopted the patriarchal surname of the other when they (presumably) got married.
Or perhaps they both had the same last name before their presumed marriage, either by happy coincidence or because they were already related by blood or marriage when they exchanged their vows.
(Wait, do 'progressives' still believe in 'marriage vows' this week, let alone opposite-sex 'marriage'? It's hard to keep up with the ever-deepening insanity of the left.).
If it's not the case that they previously shared the same surname, get ready for the fireworks (to put it mildly).
After all, you can't be a certified (certifiable, actually) nutcase, um, I mean, progressive, if you adopt the ways of 'the patriarchy', can you?

If you think that you will avoid the condemnation of your 'fellow travelers' by raising 'theybies', you are sadly mistaken (and delusional to boot).

I read the article, and I think the mother is either:
* autism spectrum
* moral peacocking to an extreme
Women are far less likely than men to have strict rules based thinking, something the general public under-appreciates as essential to IT, engineering, technology. Mechanics can have an interest in how something works and hammer out rough solutions. Engineering requires far more rules-based thinking, understanding all the rules and how they interact. It is conscientiousness at an abstract level.
This can occur in women normally, and some make great attorneys and accountants. The interest in technology, though, seems more likely if you’re female and on the autism spectrum. Less interested in people and more in things, which is very much the opposite of the normal women.
What is interesting is how female autistic-leaning individuals are disproportionately being pushed into transgender diagnoses and surgery. That because you’re logical, rational, analytical, don’t care much for dresses and feminine toys, you must somehow be a boy.
To the left, girls who are at best tom-boys and at worst far less feminine are prime candidates to undermine biological dichotomy.
I can’t help but wonder if the mother is mildly autistic, sees it in a daughter, and thinks this is the RIGHT way to raise the child. It isn’t. But when gender seems irrelevant to how people are classified, they all seem the same inside but for minor variations in appearance and behavior, going gender neutral can seem logical.
All of that is aside from the political ideology pushing this whole thing.
We can argue about gender stereotypes and social expectations, whether it is mandating girls wear skirts with school uniforms or the denigration of stay at home fathers.
What we cannot reasonably deny is penis equals male, vagina equals female, and the rare 1 in 50,000 accident doesn’t eliminate the over-arching biological reality.
Nor do those rare biological accidents we can compensate for many of those known defects, whether via hormones or surgery.
Where we reach insanity, where liberalism’s central tenet seems to be “feelings determine reality and morality”, is to say that your feelings override biological fact, that if you feel like a woman you are a woman. That the penis and XY chromosomes are a lie, the brain’s impulses are more important, so let’s alter the brain to suit the delusion. Actually, if the brain’s thoughts are out of alignment with reality, that’s a mental illness.
Transgenderism is the ONLY mental illness, dysphoria, where we say society must accommodate the delusion and alter the body to match. If someone says they’re Napoleon, we don’t give them plastic surgery and demand everyone else call them Emperor. If someone says they’re ‘trans-disabled’ and want to chop off a limb or intentionally blind themselves, most doctors still stick them in a ward under supervision before they hurt themselves. But if they say take off the primary and secondary sexual organs and give me hormones instead of psychiatric drugs and counseling, yep, let’s go for it.
Another reason liberals are pushing transgenderism is to break down sexual barriers. If there’s not really a difference between men and women, how can you refuse to have sex with someone though you’re officially heterosexual?
If you think that’s too much, realize that the lesbian protests at “gay pride” and “transgender” events are because lesbians are getting bullied by transgenders (80% male, 80% of those still with a penis) for not having sex with them. Yes, liberals are bullying lesbians who don’t want to have sex with men to have sex with men who say they’re women.
To be fair, liberals are also putting out a few articles about how men who don’t have sex with homosexual friends are bad meanies, too.
But this has been common in lesbian circles, hence the shaming, shunning and no-platforming of classic feminists for being “TERFs”. Germaine Greer and Camille Paglia, for example, were shouted down and threatened for saying a man who was a man for most of his life shouldn’t get women’s awards after being a man all his life except the last few months.
The gender-bending and gender-denial is thus an attempt to eliminate any social recognition of biological sex so they can try to create a utopian society where everyone is equally interchangeable in every role and in bed.
The fact that they exploit the mentally ill to do it isn’t seen as immoral. Instead, they think they’re helping those people get better and make society better.
At least this couple is only confusing the kids with psychobabble instead of dosing them with hormones and planning surgery for the sake of their illogical dogma.

Like kids need more problems to deal with while growing up. These kids will be confused by something so simple as their gender. The parents should lose custody for abusing these kids for their own enjoyment.
And since Darwinism is a high dogma of the progressive set, what new driver for evolution will the sexual revolutionaries propose?
