The head of a Harvard-linked research center is being ridiculed as “Sidewalk Susie” after a viral, cringe-worthy video caught the woman trying to order a mom and her biracial child to get away from her home and then condescendingly asking the family if they live in “affordable housing.”
The confrontation happened Saturday in Cambridge when Theresa Lund – executive director of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative – came out of her apartment to complain about noise allegedly being made by Alyson Laliberte’s toddler on the sidewalk outside the building.
Laliberte recorded the confrontation and posted it on Facebook.
“I’m sitting here because you’re preventing my children from sleeping. Would you like me to do that to your kids?” said Lund, wearing a purple T-shirt, running shorts and her hair tied back.
Laliberte answered: “Who is even watching your kids right now. Are you? Cause you’re not, you’re here with me and my kid.”
That’s when Lund, who is white, accused Laliberte of being poor.
“Are you one of the affordable units? Or are you one of the Harvard units?” Lund said in the video that’s been viewed more than 9,500 times by Monday night.
Laliberte kept her cool in the video – but then let Lund have it on Facebook.
“It was totally discriminating and racist of her.. or maybe it was because my daughter is biracial who knows,” Laliberte wrote on Facebook.
“I I have no idea who this woman is and the fact that she thinks she has some kind of authority over me is crazy!”

I’m only half kidding when I say that.
There are no specifics regarding the "disturbance". How long were they there? Were they waiting for a bus or a ride? Was there shade on a hot day? I didn't see that in the article.
Let's ask the other question. Why didn't the Elite, petty Harvard Liberal just close her apartment window? Alternatively, if she was looking to visit, why would she immediately be so mean?

Secondly, when the Harvard Beotch started yelling at her, did she use her snooty, ‘Charles Emerson Winchester III’ voice? I sure hope so! The NERVE of that woman disturbing the household of a Harvard Alum!

I didn’t see her “immediately be so mean” in the video.
Her children were trying to sleep and they were making noise. You heard that kid’s screech in the video, didn’t you? Closed windows wouldn’t stop that.
Most ‘normal’ people would apologize and move to another location to make noise.
The mother was whispering. The freeloader was purposely talking loud.

The street is the very quiet street in the condo complex and the kid was drawing with chalk. Mom was sitting on the curb watching.

You'll get mainly hits,mainly courtesy of the Harvard Crimson (the University daily) that tell a story of a day school for mainly minority kids that attempted to open near the neighborhood where all the top Harvard faculty and administrators live.While reading you'll find a number of Illuminati who opposed this school...including Julia Child and Laurence Tribe.

Yes. I reviewed and reflected and humbly realized that I lacked all the information I should have before forming any opinion, let alone a strong one. Just the mention of a Harvard Hypocrite motivated my opinion.
I can't listen to the video and, based on other comments, that is pertinent to a proper perspective.
