Those without the spiritual truth and life as found in the Word of God are always seeking “truth” from personal “experience.” If that experience is deliberately contradictory or insane, they will of course be susceptible to believing the wildest falsehood. This would help to explain why the agnostic or atheistic left ends up with such insane ideas ... ideas invariably grounded in death (e.g., abortion, depopulation, destruction of individual freedom, attacks on family; and, endless “activism” arrayed against the fabric of society which support our economic and cultural existence such as energy utilization, classical education, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, nationhood and the rule of law).

Good call - there were some reports previously that some at some time (forget now - but I recall one article about three in particular) were accused in Russia of being traitors and said they were US ‘company’ plants. I’m beginning to suspect there are a number of these - it’s a huge operation with a lot of ops focused by Brennan + Strzok and involves Brits + others, too. This is the absurdity of the Russian hoax - Trump was a private citizen - he didn’t run those networks ... Hussein + Clinton(s) did ;)

Depleted uranium is harmless, I’ve got about a 1 pound slug of it on my collection shelf.

Regarding spent fuel though, recall in the past Q’s there was indication that one of the things the administration/white side had to do was secure allegedly extremely dangerous cabal “fail safes” woven into the nation. I’ve thought after reading something discussing the closed loop nuclear cycle that the author was on to something insinuated in the article, and that was that the current policies on storage/disposal/reprocessing of spent fuel had essentially created a situation where America had a gun tied to its head.

multiple loads of spent fuel are stored at many reactors, and the amount exceeds the design quantity of the pools. Ordinarily the water would keep a cycles worth cool enough through evaporation but with multiple sets it needs to be circulated constantly lest it boil off and things get ugly. The thought there was that one of the fail safes/insurance policies was the threat of something in the pump and/or valve controllers code like stuxnet which would on activation damage or disable the device but return nominal operational data to plant operators until it was too late.

While the idea of of the vulnerability was intriguing what was wilder was the allegation that the previous 30+ years of political and bureaucratic nuclear policy was essentially steered to produce that national booby trap...

Has Everybody heard about the secret service agent that died of a “stroke”?? Well I am hearing rumors now that he was a food taster and besides tasting food, was checking/testing the President and Melania’s toiletries when he fell ill.

Anyway, besides rumors, here is the only article I could find about it... It covers way more than just that one issue though... also explains why Russia has been dumping U.S. Treasury notes so heavily for the past couple months.

I’ve known Christians who were susceptible too, so I’m guessing it’s part of the human condition. I agree with your assessment of the left as having disproportionate numbers of insane ideas. Perhaps it’s because in addition to appealing to some people who honestly don’t have a spiritual faith, the left also appeals to those who will grasp any idea or cudgel to use for the purpose of destroying the faith of others.

I am thinking now of Christian friends who were embarrassed for me because I did not support Obama. I also recall the close Christian friend who returned home from her church excited, saying that she was overjoyed that she would not have to “read through all those ballot measure or decided on candidates” because her pastor distributed a document indicating the “correct” way to vote on each. We ask God for insight, but do we always listen or obey? I admit I have weaknesses there. :)

I am profoundly grateful to God for the blessings, and even miracles, that He has given me, but while I won’t wander off, I sometimes wander in circles. :)

Among those I know and love, I am often said to be a “creative person” (imagine the polite ‘air quotes’ gesture they make when saying that) so that my atheist loved ones tend to regard me as “out there.” My atheist friend Jeff is innately a more logic-based person than I can claim to be. And here on FR, we have atheist FReepers who would never think of “drinking the koolaid” the left thrives on.

This “Alice in Wonderland” technique has me wondering if perhaps the DS has been traumatizing and indoctrinating our society and collected those who are most traumatized/easily directed by others into a “Democrat Party” to use as foot soldiers.

I make no excuse for those who choose leftist lies of their own free will. Those I think, are utterly self-serving. But there are decent people among them, trying to prove they are open-minded or assuaging some kind of guilt etc. or they believed what they were told about the right. As Q notes, the current war between good and evil is not a Democrat or Republican issue, it is a matter of whether one is awake or not.

I used to work in that field. Process control, valves, sensors all networked, that kind of thing. Keep the system off the ‘net you’re fine. Online you’re stupid. Major players are tight. You would be amazed at how old some of the tech is in the energy grid.

BTW - I didn’t post here but there are some interesting threads out there (one in particular) that covered the brooches that the Queen wore during the trip. The lady that wrote up the full / main one was not a political type and made that known. In any event, the first brooch was one that Hussein and Michelle / Michael gave her and she “treasures”. The one she wore on the day that Trump reviewed the guard was the one she’s worn to funerals. No bows, Goodnight DS! ;)

I can see that they mention a number of topics, including that of a food taster, but the content thrashes wildly all over the place and is planning ahead for the assassination death of Trump, or so it seems, so wasn’t able to really take away anything after having read some of it.

Yeah I read about the brooches too... Interesting stuff, from everything else I read about symbolism of that visit, that could only have seemed like a mild protest to what was happening.

I would like to see some other evidence on this taster thing too, from a good well known source, but not sure we will get it anytime soon though, According to Q (decodes) there have been a few other attempts on Trump’s life and not much ever made any public news on it.
