There is only one Attorney General of the United States, currently Jeff Sessions. Each State also has an Attorney General, the highest law officer of the State, but not reporting to the U.S. Dept. of Justice. They are responsible for prosecuting violation of State law, like simple murder and robbery. State prisons are full of the guys that State AG's successfully prosecuted.
Federal Prisons are full of the guys the Fed's caught.
The person you are referring to is the U.S. Attorney in Utah, John W. Huber

A quick google of him shows that most recently he's been involved in a doing PR for a fancy new tool that helps trace ammo used in gun crimes. LOL!

So, he's out there working but it appears to have nothing at all to do with the OIG reports.

The administration has provided few public details about Huber’s assignment beyond a lengthy message from Sessions to Congress in which he argued that his appointment should be sufficient to address the concerns raised by GOP lawmakers.
The Justice Department has declined to comment on his budget or what Sessions meant when he said that Huber is working “in cooperation” with Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Horowitz’s office also declined to comment.
White House officials see Huber as a second special counsel in everything but name because he has the authority to prosecute, a task the inspector general has to refer to a U.S. attorney.

Sky, do you think the apparent slow/no dominoes falling has anything to do with Trump And Company clawing back all the money and technology/intellectual property theft that has been stolen from us/been sold by US bad actors to world bad actors?
I did a pretty good search and couldn't find any. (And, of course I maintain my little scoreboard, and I would gladly put anything he's done up on Team Trump side, but I am not aware of any.)
Doesn't mean nothing is in the works, of course. But it has been a few months (or, perhaps a year since he was appointed by Jeff Sessions.
Mueller has indicted a bunch more Russians in the meantime, which got him a lot of Press and advanced his narrative, while obviously being a futile act of desperation.
I'm sure Mueller is preparing for his Grand Finale. In fact there were a few stories based on leaks that said he's going for an October Surprise. Maybe a straight out indictment of Trump, to help throw the election.
If Huber is supposed to be our counter-force, so far he's been completely ineffective, and the clock is ticking if Mueller's time-line looks like what the press is saying (and on this I believe them).

I worked polling site for years until recently due to employment conflicts of schedules. Yes I have also worked helping campaigns before too. I also make my small lone voice be heard to my reps and senators
And taking care of disabled relatives and working high responsibility 24/7 on call position. Not to mention no spring chicken. And no ‘tagteam’ option. I believe team Trump has thier own surprise in-store. And every day more drips out. As of now I have only seen referrals for action but not indictments.
But there’s also a less-noticed investigation by the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General, which has been exploring several issues key to the Russia saga since before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) on Monday referred ten current and former U.S. officials to the House Judiciary and Oversight & Government Reform Committees’ joint task force, as it investigates potential DOJ and FBI wrongdoing related to the Trump-Russia probe.
Chris Plant just confirmed that COS Kelly did dim the lights during Trump’s remarks yesterday...Looks like a darkness to light reference to me.
