Every report I've seen has said that Tony has been granted immunity. No mention of John.
While I am sure that John is a creep and probably should be in prison, I don't think the specific incident that Tony is in trouble for (helping with Ukraine lobbying without declaring it) involved John. John is said to have left his partnership in Podesta lobyying firm a long time ago.
But maybe I've just missed it. Got a link?
