Spare nylons ;D (amongst other practical items.) But I love the idea of nuclear launch codes in her decorative handbags. I like the idea of some kick ass revolver and nuclear launch codes even better though. Maybe security is purposely throwing us off with the list of pragmatic stuff in there that I’ve seen listed as of late. lol

I notice they are quoting “honor”.. as if to suggest that she misspelled it.
Do they think that Brits don’t know we spell it differently?

Hopefully. But I thought it very odd. Has she ever done a visit like that, alone?

Thats a very fine caboose. Caboose? I thought that was a flatcar.

Beautiful post, Grania.
I agree. Melania may well have been destined to be the inner strength, behind the man who was destined to rescue Western civilization from itself.

Spare nylons. Wet naps. An extra Hankie. Hard candy or Lifesaver mints. Denture Cream. Confiscated sling shot from one of the Peasants.
Important Grandma Stuff. ;)

Gull Dang weather at 70 degrees over there feels like 90 over here in the midwest. I'm a native of the southwest US, so I know what some blazing hot weather is like.
I hadn't had a sunburn since I was 13, but I got a bad one when I spent a summer in the south of England at age 36.
Even though that country is at 55° north latitude, the air is so clean, the UV rays just fry you.

I was one of the only guys here who thought he would win. Not even. As I recall most Freepers were pretty confident that Trump was rolling towards victory. The lying LSM had most liberals convinced he'd lose, but we knew better.
Don't tell me you forgot all that work we did, trying to calm down the few nervous nellies around here. There weren't that many of them, but man, did they wring their hands day and night.

I didn’t see that confidence. Some did not support him until late in the game. Most of the supporters were skeptical of victory. I was confident enough to win a nice bottle of Champagne, hmmm good.

I was walking around over in London one trip over there. Heck, it was about 70 and felt cool so I put on my summer coat. I ended up packing that coat over my shoulders for the entire walk.

One cannot compete with Queen Elizabeth in the diamond category since she has access to the largest on the planet. She has worn these two monsters as a brooch on numerous occasions. They are 63 and 94 carats in weight.

She uses it as a means to notify her security detail for various needs and wants. If for instance she's wishes to end an appearance somewhere or is tired she switches it off her left arm to her right it means she's tired and wants to leave.

Some decades old Doublemint gum. A few bobby pins. A couple very nice, crisply folded hankys. A roll of doggy-doo bags for the royal corgies. And a blackjack.

Actually she uses her purse to signal her staff. She usually has it on her left arm. If she switches arms her staff knows she doesn’t want to talk to whoever she is with anymore so they get them away. If she sits it down it means she is ready to leave.

I didnt see that confidence. Man, that's too bad. You must have got stuck tending to the whiny babies in the FR Nursery, during the primary ;-)
I was like you. I couldn't see how Trump could lose to Hillary, who was the worst Democrat nominee of all time.
Besides, the odds always favored the White House swinging back to the Republicans. It's almost impossible for either party to hold it for more than two consecutive terms. That's only been done once in the last sixty five years.
