I apologize for what may be an odd question; I hope someone remembers posting about this.
At some point over the past year or so, someone posted about a 'spooky story' that was available on one of the Old Time Radio websites/radio stations. I think I may have read about it here around last Hallowe'en, or at some point in the year before.
All I remember about the story is that it involved men working on a metal structure - an oil rig, or a radio tower - something like that.
I saved a link to it, but never listened to it; I thought it would be fun to save for a Hallowe'en party.
Tonight I checked the link, and I realized that all I saved was a link to a web radio station, not to the story itself. (All the link is playing tonight is Art Bell ;-)
Does anyone recall posting about this old radio story? I'd love to have the name of the story, if anyone remembers.
Thanks very much!
Unfortunately that's all I can add.....
Thanks. Maybe someone will remember.
They were working on a tower to project mind control waves that makes people think they remember posts that were never really there....
Don’t remember specifically but old time radio on Sirius is wonderful! Lots of spooky stuff that makes your hnir stand on end. Great memories.
That is IT! Thank You!

You’re welcome! Glad that was the right one!
Thanks - I’ll check it out. I love stuff like this.
Even before I changed from long-time lurker to actual ‘member’, I was amazed at the knowledge of the folks here.
You ask a question - and in a few minutes, you get lots of interesting answers :-)
Thanks to all.
XM 148 is a good channel.
Bookmark.
Thank you. Archive has a lot of good stuff - I didn’t realize that it had old-time radio (though I think I may have found some Long John Nebel on it in the past.)
I use it a lot for books and audio; it’s a great resource if ‘old stuff’ is what interests you.
I like the one about the ghost ship thats adrift, and its full of rats. Then it crashes on a lighthouse and ... well, youll have to find it ...
I’ll look.
When we first cut the cable cord, got Roku, and were able to watch YouTube on the big tv, one of the first things we watched was the old British TV story, ‘Quartermass and the Pit’. I think there were several Quartermass series; I don’t think they’re on YouTube anymore, but maybe you can find them:

Who knows? The Shadow...
LOL!
Now, I gotta feed the birds, wash myself, listen to the Prez, and go to sleep with ‘The Thing on the Fourble Board’.
Growing up I was a fan of the “Theater of the Mind”
Ch. 148 is my traveling companion, OTR just makes the miles fly by!
