It sure looks fake, as there are only two links in all of google for the particulars of this little article. Local news would have jumped on this by now if it checked out for them.
The locations — Red Lion, Littleston, and York — check out, as does the 717 area code. And I see that the “Dandy Lion Florist” is at 311 West High Street in Red Lion, PA.
But I’m not buying that it took almost two months for the police to “interview” the guy.
If it’s a fake, they made a lot of effort to make it check out. (I still think it’s a fake story.)
What kind of name is “Dedra”? Shouldn’t it be “Deirdre”?
