Add eating out as a family on your way back from vacation to the list of things that black people cant seem to do in peace.
A family of seven who stopped at a Subway in Coweta County, Ga., on Monday to eat dinner said that they had the police called on them while they were there because of their race.
The employees 911 call was released and in it, she could be heard saying that he needed someone to respond now because the family kept going back and forth the bathroom and maybe putting soda in water cups, according to WSBTV.
The horror.
The Dobsons, meanwhile insisted they did nothing wrong.
The crew, including two parents, their four children, and the childrens aunt were all returning from a grandmothers birthday in South Georgia when they stopped by the Subway to grab a bite.

OK by me as long as it is right after hygiene training.
Arrested for dining while black?
What happened to just going up to them and asking if everything was okay? There might be more to this story than is being reported.
There has to be more to the story.
Black customers in Georgia would be a common thing.
My question is where was the manager? If the manger was on duty, then perhaps the employee should have talked to the manger first. Too many unknowns here to render a verdict without more evidence.

Make me wonder if it was someone the employee knew. Thought maybe they could all cash in.
At least it wasn’t a murder in Coweta county.
Good movie.
It probably is.
But how they plant to parley this into the impeachment of President Trump escapes me.
You are right. That was a good movie.
Andy Griffith made a convincing bad guy.
I saw that movie on YouTube a few years ago.
It certainly feels that way.
My Brother lived in Coweta County when the movie was made but not when the murder occurred.
Are there free refills in Subway? If not, they were robbing the restaurant.
Sounds like the five kids were sharing a drink by going back and forth to the bathroom rather than each getting their own.. which is a form of theft.
What is normal public behavior for one demographic is not normal for what another perceives or is forced to experience due to circumstances.
“Subway Employee Calls 911 on Black Family Because She Thought They Would Rob Her “
Call 911 and the odds are 50 50 you’ll be the one shot.
How old is this young woman? She sounds like she might need to be a tad bit more assertive. “I’m sorry, you cannot access the soda machine, unless you pay for soda. You ordered water.” Or, “Are y’all all right? Is there anything I can do?”
Having said that, was she alone? It is my opinion that in most situations, businesses, especially at night, should never leave an employee to work alone, in this day and age. Sounds like she’s been kept in a jewel box, and just allowed out to make a little bit of shopping money.
My husband has a granddaughter, who is 19, has never held a job, never gone anywhere without her mother or grandmother, except elementary school, and just got a certificate for a certain job classification (her mother took the class with her), and now, could be making$12-$15/hr, but her mother says she’s afraid to take the bus a couple of miles so she can actually work! Sorry, I know this isn’t germane to the topic.
Too scared to be around black people? Stay home, then, I guess; there’s an awful lot of them out and about.
Over an hour in a Subway?
