And so, in a Thursday evening debate, the state’s agricultural commissioner used some rhetorical sleight of hand to make it sound as if he had never been a Trump critic.
Fox News’ Bret Baier — who hosted the nationally televised debate with colleague Martha MacCallum — noted that in 2016, Putnam used the words “vile,” “obscene,” and “dishonorable” to describe then-candidate Trump’s behavior. Does Trump, Baier asked Putnam, “deserve some of the blame, as his critics suggest, in setting the tone” at a time of political incivility?

She was my US Rep as well. One-term wonder. I think Levine has a good chance to beat her in the primary. He’s an attractive candidate and Graham has accomplished nothing of note in her life. If she weren’t in the Lucky Sperm Club she’d be closing crappy real estate deals or chasing ambulances.
Any friend or supporter of the Bushies, especially Jeb Bush is not a friend of mine. My votes go to Rick Scott for Senator & Ron DeSantis for Governor.
Adam Putman can go down to Broward County to hang out with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Broward County Sheriff, Scott Israel and Jeb Bush hiding in the weeds. That is where Putnum belongs with the low life of Florida!!!

For a year Putnam did not do Background Checks on CCW Permit applications. So who knows how many crazies were able to get a CCW because of his ineptitude.

Please explain how you reconcile Putnam being a ‘proud NRA sellout’ and your statement that Putnam has no equivocation when it comes to the Second Amendment.

Let me state that I was never a NeverTrumper. I was on the Trump Wagon since I read The Art of the Deal in 1988. When most FReepers called us Trumpets, I was a staunch defender of Trump. So, this is not about Trump.
This is about Florida, a state that I have called home since Nixon was president. The governor of a state does not make immigration policy for the nation but they do enforce the laws.
Florida has three major economies: hospitality for foreign workers, insurance/banking/healthcare for educated workers, and welfare for the rest. A few years ago, the state decided to change all the Community Colleges where a person could get a certificate or a 2-year degree into State Colleges that still offer some of that stuff, but they really work hard to get a student into a 4 year program (at a much higher tuition rate, of course). Putnam wants to get us Technical Colleges and the jobs that hire those people.
I have first-hand knowledge too because I hire Industrial Electricians. They have a different skill set than a commercial electrician who wires things up and leaves. Years ago, it was pretty easy to find qualified Industrial Electricians, but today it is almost impossible because young people who are smart enough to work competently with automation are getting engineering degrees, which does not teach them how to keep machines running.
As a Florida voter, I have to choose my governor based on what Florida needs. I believe that Putnam and Desantis will support Trump as governor of Florida.
Where’s permit mentioned in the Bill of Rights?
Little Adam is trying to portray himself as the law and order candidate.
DeSantis is being portrayed as missing a lot of votes. I don’t know.
But, my gut strongly tells me that DeSantis is the better choice of the two.
All four democrats running are running on an I’m more anti gun than the other guys and each has promised to ban modern black sport utility rifles.
As long as anyone votes for people who want to give the country away to fraudulently documented foreigners, our entire nation is at risk.

I totally agree. But, 2016 was a strange year and I am not going to hold anyone accountable for things they said that year unless they kept saying it after February 2017. If Putnam is an open-borders guy, then I trust that you have some evidence and all the Floridians here should see it.

I believe Putnam’s supporters include open border, cheap labor organizations.

I’m not all-in on anyone. What did you find on his donor list? Did you compare it to the Desantis list?
A NICS check is not the backgroung check necessary for a Florida CCW. So no. If you think crazies got ccw permits than you need to vote Democrat.
