Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez issued a bleak message for the Fourth of July, portraying the United States as a deeply troubled nation, and suggesting that President Donald Trump’s policies are to blame. “As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we recognize that America’s founding promise remains out of reach for too many families. Too many members of our society are still struggling to find a good-paying job or get the health care they need. Too many women, LGBTQ Americans, people of color, and people with disabilities still face inequality and injustice across our society,” the statement read.
Perez is notorious for using profanity when attacking the Trump administration and the Republican Party. Last July, for example, he declared that Republicans “don’t give a shit about the people.”
The majority of Americans agree with the president, and disagree with the Democrats, according to a new Gallup poll that found 55% of U.S. adults believe the country’s best days are ahead — up from 47% in 2012.

Hey Perez, you lying sack, the mestizo dude who speaks ten words of English and was on line in front of me at WalMart last night told the cashier he was swiping his EBT card “first” to pay the bill. It didn’t cover the entire amount, so out came the roll of twenties about an inch thick to cover the rest of the bill. Nice. So he gets the entitlement programs, PLUS the job under the table with NO e-Verify which pays cold hard cash. He wasn’t buying cans of beans either. While I am pinching pennies, these border jumper SOB’s have more of the taxpayer’s money in their pockets than does the federal government. I also noted that this DNC statement isn't on the DNC website. In fact, the ONLY place I could find it was on the USA Today website. Indeed, the Breitbart article links to someone's Twitter feed which reproduces this screed.
While I don't doubt this is from the DNC, I believe the DNC wants plausible deniability in case this goes over badly.
