Since when does a Federal judge have budget or executive authority? In exactly what part of the Constitution is he claiming this authority?

Show me in the Constitution where it states the government has to keep handing out aid please?

I guarantee that when the suit was filed they went judge shopping again.

Clarence Thomas has noted that this sort of thing needs to be reined in.

The agency added that it was extending for an additional 60 days a transportation assistance program that covers the costs of airfare, luggage and pet fees for Puerto Ricans to return to the island.

Ignore the judge. Let him try to enforce it.

I’ve come to the conclusion that District Judges are the most powerful judges in America.

It’s for 4 additional days. Not exactly worth a heart attack over.

These judge decisions are unconstitutional

The only reason Puerto Ricans are citizens is because in 1917 congress wanted to draft them into military service, therefore congress made them citizens. It was a bonehead move then, as is patently obvious now. We should have stayed completely neutral in that war anyway.

Why even have elected representatives if the judges are going to make all the decisions? At least the judges in the Old Testament were appointed by God.

The American taxpayers need to block our taxpayer dollars from going to Puerto Rico. Let “judgey” pay the bills.

If these Leftist Judges were in charge back in 1945, they wouldn’t have let POTUS Truman Nuke Japan.

there’s a bunch of people who may be in bed now who think they have to move tomorrow

They should have been kicked out of bed months ago. Lazy bums should have been out repairing and building their homes all this time.

Why can Americans (TEXANS) just shrug their shoulders, roll up their sleeves and go to work after being devastated by a hurricane but Puerto Ricans need a babysitter to nurse them through and convince them to get on with their lives? Receiving a piece of paper from the State Department does not make someone an American. Being an American takes a lot more effort than that.

Judge changes the week from 7 to 8 days to give a day to worship the government.

This ruling is completely inappropriate. The money being spent on that program comes from my tax dollars, and it should be spent in accordance with the decisions of Congress and the President of the United States, not at the whim of a black-robed tyrant.

I’m all for Puerto Rican Independence. And granting (forcibly) Puerto Rican citizenship to this judge.
