Why can Americans (TEXANS) just shrug their shoulders, roll up their sleeves and go to work after being devastated by a hurricane but Puerto Ricans need a babysitter to nurse them through and convince them to get on with their lives? Receiving a piece of paper from the State Department does not make someone an American. Being an American takes a lot more effort than that.
After last year we had no water, toilet, anything to do with water, or drainage for nearly 3 months.
No showers except go outside with a garden hose , no toilet.
Our drainfield collapsed as did the septic tank, we had two sink holes at the side of the house which caused this. Roof badly damaged too
We stayed, rebuilt, still fixing, but we never took a dime off anyone, so why is it certain parts of the population and these people need this for this long?
