Watch a gutsy squirrel steal a doughnut from cop

Stealing anything from a police office is pretty bold. But a doughnut?

That's asking for some serious trouble.

A brazen squirrel in Anchorage, Alaska, did just that, prompting the police department to post a video of the bandit on its Facebook page

heh heh

I’ve been led to believe that Alaska’s ‘Camp Robbers’ (AKA Gray Jays) are worse than magpies!

“Don’t tase me bro!”

Good thing it wasn’t a puppy...cop would have emptied a mag.

My first encounter with “camp robbers” was in Colorado on a Boyscout hiking trip. Very sneaky brave birds and extremely hard to catch.

I always figured gray jays/camp robbers were just magpies in summer uniform. Each will tell you what’s wrong with leaving nothing on the picnic table in Yellowstone. Cheetos are everybody’s favorite no matter what campground. Chipmunks will get on your lap and in the bag. Leave a grocery bag on the ground in your tent. Forget sleep. It is their home, I suppose. LOL. Best azzchewing I ever got was a grey squirrel mad I was there. Then he started dropping pine cones on me. Forgot the Cheetos.

The “squirrel flinger bird feeders” are equally hilarious!

When I searched squirrel catapults I saw some squirrel slingers. They are funny. I’m surprise at how long those tree rats can hang on.

This is a pretty hard azz crew. Shooting squirrels all over and such. Anybody gotta link where to buy on of those catapult things? Not that I would use it but never know when it might come in handy.

They hang on ‘til the batteries run out. Not kidding! It’s like they know.

Had a friend in the UK and I was complaining about them getting into our bird feeder. Got a “no-squirrel” pole to mount. My friend said, “Be careful. They’ll b coming back with a bag of spanners.”

Believe it or not....I raised a squirrel from an infant when I was an “Ellie May”, naive girl. Now....I don’t brake for them in the road.
