>>I have seen it in several places on the internet that they didn’t open at all yesterday. Don’t know if that’s true, but that’s what I did read ...<<

We can only hope.

"She took a staff vote ..."

A row call vote or secret ballot?

Regardless, Sarah’s money was evidently not green enough.

I don’t understand your point.

The comparison I’m trying to make, is that the liberal view was that the baker must serve the homosexual customers and create the gay wedding cake, regardless of whether he agrees with political views of the customers.

In the case of Sarah Sanders, the staff was voting on whether to serve her and her party. They voted to decline service. How is that any different than the leftist complaints about being denied service; of gay customers not getting a gay wedding cake?

So what’s your opinion? Do you think the restaurant was within their rights in kicking out Sarah Sanders? What do you see as the key issues here?

My boys and I met Elijah Cummings last summer in DC train station. Do I agree with or like him? Not one bit. But we were polite and gracious. My son (the staunch conservative) had a picture made with him. We didn’t stoop to boorish behavior.

They probably just voted themselves out of a job. It’s a life lesson, hope they learn from it.

Early report said that one of the wait staff mentioned Sanders being kicked out.

Then Sanders tweeted about it.

That Red Hen owner is backpedalling furiously, trying to make it look like she took a vote of the staff first.

When’s the last time a business manager of an establishment dealing with the public polled their workers whether or not to boot a customer?

Doesn’t matter. She still refused to provide service based on personal morals. The LGBT will undoubtedly activists will soon raise hell, boycott the Hen, and report to the Virginia equivalent of the Colorado gang in the Phillips case.

Right.

Well, right?

And conservatives all over took a vote never to go to that restaurant.

I would call that mental instability. When someone hates so much, that they kick someone out of their restaurant. That is HATE. What the bakery did to the homos was not hate.

It’s confusing, I know. That is what liberals are creating...confusion.

I subscribe to the belief that all places of business have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. They also have the right to have smokers or not to have smokers.

This is the difference, you see how I snuck in the smoking non-issue?

The restaurant created an unnecessary division. And why should they get away with it while a bakery run by Christians have to loose everything fighting for their basic rights.?

Queers won’t leave to save the peace. Sarah did.

But mostly I’m saying, fine with me, but we have a right to boycott and demean liberal businesses that choose this path .....so long as conservative businesses can utilize the same ploys without repercussion lawsuits.

And that Bakery? Conservatives would have lifted them to riches with their support of the business, but friggin liberals can’t have that....thus a lawsuit.

They probably heard their boss talking about her, and assumed that she was the Mouth of Sauron himself.

It’s funny, these guys will go out of business for making a dramatic statement based on the fact they cannot control their emotions. Conservatives won’t go because they angry. Liberals won’t go eat there either because they are cheap. ...but someone will set up a go fund me page for the staff. And then steal the money.

Yes I see you bring in smoking. And this concept could be applied to many issues out there.

I think the restaurant owner and staff expect to get away with this because, just because they are liberal, and they feel being liberal means they are on a pedestal of some sort.

We will see if this place survives long term. I wonder if they ever took a.poll of political leanings of their customers?

I think they assume the political leanings of their customers, so it’s a shock when an undeniable conservative shows up.

They are losing power, they are losers....so the chance to be able to kick out a conservative gives them “joy-joy” feelings.
