The wall is beginning to crack.
Government Employees are not Welcome at The Red Hen
If this isn’t a civil rights violation...
When this liberal POS’s business drops 30-40%, she can take a poll of employees to see who gets terminated first.
I wouldn’t be surprised the staff did vote on it because as a restaurant the staff is over 50% illegal alien immigrants.
Do we need an underground publication of businesses and restaurants that support America and American values?????? With ratings like AAA puts out?
The owner may have done Sarah a favor. If the “staff and cooks” didn’t want her how do we know what may have ended up in Sarah’s food.
Still the double standard is appalling.
Like most insane libs....she’s a shape shifter.
When the heats on, it’s someone else’s fault.
Well, guess what? When a fish stinks, the head stinks first.
She’s the head and made the final decision.
Whatever becomes of the Dead Hen is all on her...her fault.
She should move back to NY where she’d be more “comfortable”.
Can a business deny their service based on political view?
Answer:
U.S.-based answer: In most cases, yes. Theres no federal law requiring that public accommodations treat people of different political views the same. Its illegal to refuse service or to discriminate (such as charging a higher price) because of the persons race or religion. Many states and some local governments have laws prohibiting this discrimination based on sexual orientation. I dont know of any place where public accommodations may not discriminate on the basis of political views.

This is a new concept in the restaurant business.
Have staff vote on who they will serve and who
gets kicked out.
This could have been a teachable moment for the
owner to her staff.
Unfortunately, it will a hard lesson for the owner.
Her business will fail.
I like the idea of a list of restaurants that is run by patriots (not commie Obama supporter patriots) who will protect their customers from harassment by lunatic anarchists/socialists/commies.
Circular firing squad time. Complete demonstration of cluelessness and classlessness, especially coming on the narrow SCOTUS decision about the requirements of public accommodation in the MASTERPIECE BAKERY decision. Same sense applies, of course, to that DC Mexican Restaurant, especially after the management made agreement noises.
I hope they are out of business by the end of the year.
She did Sarah a favor. This way Sarah and her family didn’t get the special phlegm sauce added to their food.
Since the restaurant owner is trying to be a good little communist by having her suppressed workers vote on their clientele, will she let them vote on who gets a pay raise and by how much, or will she be a dirty capitalist and tell them that only she will decide how much pay each person gets?
Snowflakes hate it when you use their own set of rules against them.
They’re supposed to get to do it to us, but it is racist to do it back.
In the Baltimore area, Mission Barbecue. The founder / owner is former Marine, and they play the national anthem at noon everyday. And oh yeah, the food is excellent too!
That’s nice.
The staff of every restaurant in the South in 1960 would have voted not to let in any black people. Ask Lester Maddox.
Eisenhower and Kennedy both sent troops to those states to force the populace to stop doing that and other segregationist tactics. It’s called the 14th amendment: Equal Protection Under the Law.
Ms. Huckabee Sanders just had her rights under the 14th Amendment violated if we are to apply the same rationale.
Where’s the justice for Sarah? Where are the troops to intimidate the owner into allowing her to eat her meal in peace?
After all, did she demand they bake a cake with a man and a woman on it? Undoubtedly that would have enraged them even further.
