President Donald J. Trumps press secretary was thrown out of a Virginia restaurant because she works for the Trump administration.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left, she tweeted. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.
The Red Hen has been owned by Stephanie Wilkinson since 2008, according to a public records database.
Wilkinson and her co-founder John Blackburn are part of the leftist go green craze.
Our two main goals during renovation were to preserve the historic character of the building and update it in the most sustainable way possible, Blackburn told Virginia Living.
Curiously, nobody named Stephanie Wilkinson is registered to vote in Virginia.
The Red Hen has been taking a beating on Google Reviews since the news surfaced.
Based on the new report that that the manager asked a patron last night to leave because she worked for the POTUS, this is highly inappropriate, a Google user named Kimberly Mackie wrote. A business should never ask a customer to leave because of their job.
Maybe she rode her bike like Camera Hogg...
My prediction is that wherever Mrs. Sanders travels, she will receive offers of free meals on the house.
I’m afraid all this political focus is just going to make this place a mecca for intolerant, radical leftists. After all they just need to fill up their small restaurant every day. That won’t take many enthusiastic left-wingers to do. Oh well, at least we are wreaking a little havoc at the moment.
If they kick you out, go out yelling, Just bake the damn cake!
Ya, but this time around the democrats will have to fight the Southerners. They won't do near as well as last time around.
Do that to me, and I ignore the request to leave. Call the cops, and I own the store and your house, after using the services of the court system.
I read she’s a NY transplant?
The other side of the coin is that businesses who hate people, make their food and serve it. It doesn’t take much imagination.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.
Indeed.
Snowflakes arent ready for the long game. My guess is this restaurant will see a spike in business from kooky liberals for a few weeks. But theyre soft, & they have to get back to mommys basement & wont return. Conservatives however, will NEVER return. We play the long game.
Id be surprised if the building is still standing a month from now.
If I was her insurance company I would cancel the policy.
I hope every homeless person in VA comes to the Red Hen to use their bathrooms.
Dan Bongino is a wise man.
Awwwww. How “democratic”.
Mob rule.
Better bet is to say in a clear voice:
“Thanks for the heads up about the situation. Please let me know when you get that problem sorted out and it’s safe to eat here again.”
Then leave.
Sure to throw cold water on a lot of guys’ fantasies.
