What was the question Gore kept asking? It was something like What about Diffie Helman? and he kept whining and repeating it. It was the highlight of the campaign as I remember. Id love to find that clip!

Remember when he stuck his tngue down Tipper’s throat? That was creepy.
Must have had his Chakras all worked up.
Ask not for whom the bell dingles, Al, it dingles for thee.

Oh... never mind... Hore is such a boreass I went into a micro-sleep just thinkin’ about it, and forgot what I was thinkin’ about.
I know Gore was supposed to have invented the internet </s>, but I don't think he was trying to get Bush into a discussion over cryptographic key exchange.
The sad thing is that in addition to knowing that the question was using the wrong name pair, I know what the reference actually means.
LOL - the wife says that makes me an uber nerd.
LOL; I actually remember that, now that you’ve brought it up. Gore was all powdered and rouged, like something that the undertaker had just got finished with! He looked so natural!
If I remember right, Diffie-Hellman is an algorithm used for the secure exchange of keying information in VPN tunnels. Come to think of it ... Al Gore Rhythm ... perhaps?
LOL! Yes, that is exactly what got me so tickled. I spotted Diffie Helman in a report for our website app and started laughing but could not remember for the life of me what Gore had actually said, because Diffie Helman had wiped out what he had really said in my memory.
I just remember Gore bringing up his plan to keep social security funds in a “lockbox” constantly, so much that SNL did a hilarious dead on send up of the way Gore came across in the debates:

When SNL wasn’t complete garbage. Sad.
It’s strange to think that as recently as the George W. Bush era, SNL was still an equal opportunity offender taking plenty of jabs at the left. My favorite was the “Financial Bailout” sketch with hilarious impressions of Nancy Pelosi and Bwarney Frawk, and especially that bit where George Soros speaks as the press conference and the caption reads “Owner, Democratic Party”
