What was the question Gore kept asking? It was something like What about Diffie Helman? and he kept whining and repeating it. It was the highlight of the campaign as I remember. Id love to find that clip!

“What about the Dingell-Norwood bill?
“What is your position on the Dingell Norwood bill.”
The most Washington insider question ever posed in a debate.
You are a computer nerd to think that one!
Florida was supposed to be under 5 feet of water by now - after being hit by massive super hurricanes years-after-year
But what about Dingell-Norwood?
When Al Gore took over Global Warming as his own mantel of righteousness in the early 2000’s, I knew right there it was a fake issue.
Trump would have said: “We use dollar bills here in the USA, Al.” ;-)
Hell man, what’s the diffie ?
Dingell Norwood!
I remember thinking, Gore appears to have neither dingle, nor wood.
Thanks for posting that link. Here is one excerpt from that thread I liked a lot
“I remember that in those debates Gore was so made up that he looked like something from “Queer Eye for the Straight Corpse.””

All I remembered was lockbox
Remember the sock stuffed in the front of his pants for the Cover of the Rolling Stone? I was astonished that a man, even a half man, a quarter man, like Gore, would so publicly embarrass himself. No self respect, or sense of dignity, whatsoever.
What a Maroon!
Remember seeing that. Cracked me up when Bush nodded (and winked) as Gore walked over and entered his space.
I only remember the sighing ...
Yep that was crazy. What is it with the desire to draw attention to hidden body parts, as some sort of political statement about Al Gore?
That exchange may have cost Gore the election. He came across as a fool? (actually, he is a fool)
