A video of a Raising Canes employee stirring tea with her forearm has gone viral online, resulting in the termination of those responsible.
The video was taken inside the Kansas City, Mo., location of the fast food chain and then seemingly posted to Snapchat before being posted on Facebook where it has been viewed more than 875,000 times. In the video, a female employee is seen stirring tea with her forearm in a pitcher and then pouring the drink into the tea dispenser.
Written over the short clips are, Dont drink tea from Canes and She tryflin (sic) cause (sic) we dont care no more.

Its bad but on her, don’t hold this against Cane’s, they took care of it as soon as they knew. They put out a quality product!
I have drawn the structural drawings for most of the ones they have built here in Arizona and each one we are offered passes that are vip invites to the grand opening for a free meal... They do it for each location as a training day for their new crews, at least then when they screw something up, I guess they can say well that’s why it was free, LOL.
We have gone to a couple now that were not too far away, but not driving 20 or 30 miles to stand in line for free fast food though. Just saying, if you have not tried it, I think it is much better quality and value than what passes for fast food these days. There is always a line in the drive through like there is at In and Out Burger here.
FYI: Tucson I just heard you may be getting a couple soon.
It was just bad optics.
They shouldn’t have videoed it.
But most anyone that works in a restaurant as a prep cook will admit this type of thing happens all the time as a function of work.
In the 1980’s, I worked at the first restaurant of what is now a national chain. It was started by some guys that owned a bunch of Wendy’s restaurants along with a French trained chef.
We would make dressings from scratch. Start with a 20 gallon bucket and pour in a couple 5 gallon containers of mayo, then the rest of the ingredients. Reach down to the bottom and start stirring.
There is no whip you can use to get it all stirred. And no gloves long enough. You just had to do it.
That’s just the way it is sometimes!
Well I will eat out less for sure now. Other’s skin, arm hair, fingernail dirt not something I want to ingest. I am always astounded at the number of people I see when I am washing my hands in a public bathroom who leave their stall and go straight to the door. Some people are just nasty.
How many waiters grab that lemon for your water with their hands. And that after they just collected dirty dishes.
I guess we’re all cannibals now.
One of the many, many, many, many reasons I don’t eat out.
Raising Cane’s = Chick-fil-A for liberals
A lot of Chick-fil-A employees are Christian because they want to work at a job that is closed Sunday so they can go to church. Plus Chick-fil-A was founded with the idea of Christian values.
Raising Cane’s namesake is a play on words that ties to the Biblical Cain who was the first murderer, committing religious genocide against his own brother. (The founder named the restaurant after two of his dogs which were named Raising Cane and Raising Cane II.) I’m not aware of any actual religious or political affiliation of the business, so I’m just making an anecdote and not accusing Raising Cane’s of anything nefarious.
I’ve tried the food at Raising Cane’s, and it’s not bad. But personally I like Chick-fil-A much better. Customer service at Chick-fil-A has always been superior.
Of course...there is that sign in the restroom that says "Employees must wash hands before returning to work.". Mission accomplished.
That glove would work, just have to hose it off a little first!
Now you’re coming around!
