My name is Roger. I lived in Denver for over 33 years. I voted every election against illegal immigration and against the marijuana that they brought with them to my country. The smell of people checking out of reality could be experienced all around Denver, especially from the freeways at highway speeds at I-70 and Colorado Blvd and at I-25 and Auraria Campus. I was a truck driver handling eighty thousand pounds of vehicle and merchandise at the time which made me very dangerous behind the wheel if not paying attention. As you know, a sleepy driver is more deadly than a drunk driver, so getting my sleep was very important to me. Unfortunately the immigrants from south of the border in the city have different ideas about what should be done during sleeping hours of the night. They would set off FIREWORKS (not fire crackers, but launched full sized FIREWORKS) at 3am in the middle of November. Sometimes I would get home from work after 12am and I would hear BAP BAP BAP BAP BAP then see someone down the street come running out of the darkness. I said to myself, oh hell no, and reached for my gun.
Took this photo in north Denver a few days before the 4th of July last year.
Having spent the night in such wonderful places around the country such as Oakland California, Chicago Illinois, McAllen Texas, I preferred to keep some sort of weapon with me in the semi. In Denver, if someone woke me up by detonating an explosive in the middle of the night that shook the house, the first thing I would do is reach for a weapon to protect myself. As you also know, when you get jolted out of bed and your heart is pounding from an adrenaline rush, you aren't going back to sleep for at least 3 hours. I would be setting in to sleep then hear explosions outside. I'd jump up and see Mexican families strolling their children down the street throwing fire crackers. I'd approach them and say, "Hey, it's night time. I'm trying to sleep. Please stop it." They'd say okay then proceed further down the street and continue their activities. I was being sleep deprived. After many calls to Adams County Police I realized that they couldn't do anything unless they personally witnessed it happening. So I took it upon myself to start observing, position locating addresses and video surveilling the neighborhood. I documented nearly 10 addresses around me where this activity was taking place. Yes, the problem was pervasive. When an explosion went off after 9pm I would call the police and give an address. They would come out then tell me later that they spoke to some people but that was all they could do since they didn't see it happen. One night when another full on display was taking place around the neighborhood I got out of bed and drove my car to one Latino family address where I've visited before requesting them to stop. They were drunk this time and one of them became angry and nearly crawled through my window. Other members of his family pulled him away and I drove to the next location. There were 2 Latino families on both sides of the street recreating in the dark. I got out of my car and approached one group. I asked politely if I could speak with them. They said sure. As I explained to them about being a sleepy truck driver the other family started to cross the street. The angry guy from the last location was also storming down the sidewalk. I was being mobbed. It became hostile. I was shouted at by many people all at the same time. I was called a f*king white person. I went back to my car and found cigarette butts on my windshield and an empty beer bottle placed on my passenger seat. I pulled it out and told them someone put a beer bottle on my seat, but they laughed at me and joked that I was a drunk driver and they should call the police. Other instances like this occurred on other nights around the neighborhood. I'm sure they knew where I lived so I began to expect the worst. The fireworks were not just a form of recreation, but a form of intimidation and defiance against working neighbors. I had been hearing about legislation being passed where our elected officials who claimed Denver was not a sanctuary city had decriminalized public defecation in order to protect illegal immigrants from being arrested and deported. So I purchased some secluded land many hours back in the mountains and pulled up out of the city I grew up in, the city I went to church in, the city I graduated college in, the city I worked in, the city I cast my ballots in for decades.
This is me bugging out of Denver last year.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SEPARATED ME FROM MY CITY.

The illegals know exactly what they are doing. They are clearing the neighborhood of law abiding Americans, so they can take over. And they know they have the blessings of all Democrats and a lot of crooked Republicans.
Entitled white weekend vacationers set off professional fireworks around us 24/7/365 and the sheriff’s dept. just laughs and tells me there’s no noise ordinance so they won’t do anything.
A couple summers ago, I was taking the trash out late at night and happened to look up to see several Japanese lanterns fly by. Those little kites with lit candles. We were in a severe drought so there was a burn ban not only on trash but also patio grills. I told the sheriff exactly where the lanterns came from, the resort at the end of our street, but they wouldn’t lift a finger.
We have got similar nonsense going on up in the State of Washington since the legalization of pot. Several times a day whether driving or in the house we are assaulted by the nasty odor of what smells like a combination of burning leaves and a skunk that has been run over.
Yesterday it was hot and we had the windows open and our house was filled with this odor. I went outside to investigate where the smell was coming from. It was an Hispanic looking kid smoking pot in his car while he waited to pick up one of the slutty looking teenage girls who live in the rental house across the street. The illegal fireworks are relentless around here this time of year as well. They seem to go hand in hand with the marijuana.
So thanks a bunch, libertarian marijuana advocates!!! We are all reaping the benefits of the living hell that you have helped to turn our neighborhoods into.
This isn’t new so in no way Trump’s fault. Ten years ago, our high school aged kids were shocked at how many illegals suddenly appeared in their old middle school.
Yeah, a lot of animals and children are genuinely traumatized by the sound of fireworks including my son. In places I’ve lived thoithe fireworks were the least of the issue — loud music, litter, unauthorized residents, lawns replaced by car repair shops, unlicensed and/or drunk drivers, etc., etc.
So thanks a bunch, libertarian marijuana advocates!!!
That's stupid, even for you - libertarians have never advocated setting off fireworks relentlessly, and many Americans have used marijuana and not set off fireworks.
Fireman15, marijuana is the smell of the inability to cope with life. It’s a smell of weakness, indulgence and defeatism. I accept that the safe part of the plant helps terminal patients but that does not include the environment polluting odor. The odor comes from abusers. It’s their way of pissing on the world around them that they are unable to confront. We’ve got to become a majority again.
When I was patrolling the neighborhood in the above story I met a family who had to put their dog on Prozac, I am not kidding, doggy Prozac specifically because of the year round illegal fireworks.
What type of non-permanent paint is that? I want to write a similar message when we (eventually) drive the hell out of The People's Republik of Connecticut for the last time.
Big city problems, not pot problems. I live in the Colorado mountains. We have Hispanics but none of the mentioned problems here.
Liberal California expats destroyed Denver, setting the stage for a flood of illegal immigrants there. No wonder people hate Californians and detest them moving to their cities.
Illegals wage a pogrom on behalf of the deep state, they are a para-military terror group now
Its their way of pissing on the world around them that they are unable to confront.
WELL SAID.

Agreed.
Thats a tire marker paint stick (nonpermenant). I use razor blade edge to scrape it off but that does put fine scratches in your glass. You can also take it off with rubbing alcohol and a rag but thats messy. When you communicate like this you are pledging your fortune (your vehicle) in the cause of free speech. Be prepared for consequences. Let them be the ones to use vulgarity.
The Latinos that vacation down the road from me ran a bonfire last year when we had a ban. I drove behind them when they were leaving and watched as their kids dumped their food and coke cans on our clean road. There are beer bottles still on the ground around their lot. Maybe its a human problem not a race problem. I see it as a careless, uneducated problem that is represented largely by people from south of the border.
As Anne Coulter pointed out, peasant cultures have no regard for the environment, it’s a concern only afforded by affluent societies. But as culture is created by peoples, I wouldn’t argue against it being racial.
