I hope Barr makes it mutual, requires that they cannot kill off her character, and allows her to create a new “Roseanne” elsewhere.
Meh. I’m sorry she lost her show for speaking her mind, but I’m not sure the show without her will manage.
Didn’t they kill Dan off at one point, and needed to make it all ‘like a dream’ (’Dallas’) at the beginning of the new ‘revival’ episode?
Now they have to kill of Roseanne? Not sure if people will tune in. I haven’t watched any of the ‘new’ show in Prime Time, but caught the first few episodes on bootlegged You-Tube videos.
Again, Meh. I’ve got other things to worry about, LOL! :)
I still believe this is all ‘arranged’ in some way by Roseanne, and she ends up with Fox by July, and has full ownership of the concept. As for the ‘others’ with their spinoff....by the fifth week, they will have lost half of their viewers, and it’ll quietly end by May of 2019.
Will Trump voters keep watching? I don’t know. Maybe they’ll replace their audience with liberal viewers. I have little interest.
Maybe I just don't think outside the box, but that doesn't seem like a winning formula.

Dead before it starts. “Roseanne” without Roseanne is like a day without ... day.
I hope it fails.
The media will pretend that there was never a show called Roseanne. Our job after the first episode airs is to flood ABC with phone calls an emails asking what happened to Roseanne.
So for grins and giggles, let’s make a list of things that could have happened to her. Sure, I’ll start.
1. She ran away and joined the circus.
I worked in this industry as a story analyst, production, development. My guess is the studio wanted to get the money train going, then can Roseanne. She will get a payout, but will never get another deal. She took the I like Trump much further than they bargained for. Probably get two years with a Lefty suck fest, called The Conners or something...,not Darlene. Goodman is a good draw, that Darlene is not. Then the show will get yanked. More and more cutting the cable....getting rid of tv. Wish I could bet on this.....
They should airbrush her out of the episodes from her first series and rename “Typikal Amerikan Family”
2. She crossed Hillary Clinton’s path to the White House

She will hopefully NEVER give up her rights, as creator of the character/series, to prevent her from moving on to another series, taking her character/story line with her.
She could call it, “I Love Roseanne”

2. Roseanne won the lottery, again...only...this time she gets to keep ALL of her winnings, since her crappy family dumped her/threw her under the bus....and, she’s now living in DC....working as a consultant for a Presidential campaign.
Her loser family members call her, from time to time, to beg for money....but, she has instructed her assistant to please ignore all of these phone calls.
Watch any “black” TV show and you’ll see every character as a black sterotype (sp?). The same goes for gays.And on lots of shows Trump is constantly bashed and some of it is racist. So it’s obvious this had nothing to do with racism. It’s all completely political.
Roseanne should take a multi-million-dollar payout to permit the spinoff, watch the spinoff fail, and laugh her way to the bank.
The audience was already dropping off after they went full gender derangement.
Good plan.
