The North Korean dictator is fancied at 4/6 to take the prize jointly with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in.
Donald Trump is second favourite at 10/1 by bookies Ladbrokes.
The two leaders are in Singapore for a showdown summit to solve the ongoing crisis over Pyongyang's nuke programme, which has led to fears of a major world war.
The US President has sounded a positive note ahead of the crisis talks with Kim.
Earlier he tweeted: "Great to be in Singapore, excitement in the air!"
Kim was also pictured in a candid selfie smiling with politicians on a night out in Singapore.
US basketball star Dennis Rodman arrived in Singapore late on Monday for the summit, saying he was "excited to be part of it," although there is no indication yet he will be involved in the talks.
Speaking to reporters, the former NBA champion said: "It should go fairly well, but people should not expect so much for the first time.
"The doors are opening."
Trump met with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee today, saying afterward: "We've got a very interesting meeting tomorrow, and I just think it's going to work out very nicely".
Other figures in the running for the prestigious peace prize include the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) at 10/1, Catalan politician Carles Puidgemont at 12/1, Angela Merkel at 16/1 and Pope Francis, also at 16/1.
It's been revealed Kim never travels anywhere without his own personal toilet, but the reason he does it is truly bizarre.
Give it to the North Korean dictator that continued saber rattling and nuclear proliferation?
If they do he Nobel is a worthless prize and will given to any tin pot dictator (like obama) who screws up the world then says he likes peace.
The Nobel became a gag gift in 2009.

Indeed it did - when Obama got one just for being HIM. Good goin’ morons - you just rendered your “prize” as meaningful as a whoopee cushion.
I tried, really, to find a pic or gif appropriate to your gut busting post...I failed the challenge, but I feel like there is one out there, somewhere... :)
America should create its OWN prize, since, as was said, the Nobel is a gag gift. And no elitist jokers on OUR awards panel, either.
Funny how Google candy coats this:
“This would imply that he had been arrested and executed on the same day, which is unlikely.”
Seeing as Hussein got it, it pretty much is meaningless. Seriously, who would have thought anything different. What they are saying is, murder your own, starve your people, threaten the world and when the gig is up because your nation is about to collapse, get a prize! Whatever.
They would rather give it posthumously to Adolf Hitler than to Trump.
If peace comes to the Korean Peninsula, give the Nobel Peace Prize to President Donald J Trump. Begin to restore the Prize’s lost luster!!!!
Exactly Nobel no longer means anything. Gore? Obama? its a sham.
Those Nobel Idiots should visit North Korea and see what the Young Un is doing to the people there
Perhaps they should wait to see if Kim is serious or not about this. Time woll tell.
Anyone with half a brain knows the Nobel Committee is repulsed by the idea of giving their meaningless prize to Trump. He will get the same treatment Reagan received when he brought down the Soviets. Now Gorbachev is a foot note in the record of a truly great leader. In 30 years, Kim will be the same.
We’ve been predicting this from the beginning.
It will make it a bigger joke than when Obama got it after eleven (count them - eleven) days in office.
Did Kim use an anti-aircraft gun on him?
Reputedly, yes. That’s the one.
Well, Trump should get the prize, no question about it - but remember, Obama got it for literally NOTHING, so the chances of a legit award for The Great Peacemaker are approximately zero.
I imagine the thinking is that Kim will have to concede more, give up more for peace than will Trump.
IF the agreements actually turn out to mean that, and Kim will be making a certifiable, verifiable 180 degree change in many North Korean policies and programs, that idea would be true, but in fact it would not have occurred with any former U.S. president. It would not have occurred now except for Trump.
Ignoring Trump would be just snubbing Trump out of spite, not that his actual contribution had little to do with “peace”.
Give it to Rodman.
About as meaningful.
