On Friday, one United States military serviceman was killed and several others were wounded in Somalia. President Trump quickly took to social media to share that his thoughts and prayers were with the individuals and their families.
While not much information concerning the assault has been released, a U.S. spec-ops soldier was killed and four others suffered injuries following an enemy attack.
Trump expressed his sympathies in a tweet, but rather than have reverence for the fallen soldier, some people insensitively ridiculed a typo.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of our serviceman who was killed and his fellow servicemen who were wounded in Somolia. They are truly all HEROES, Trump said in a now-deleted tweet.
As Washington Examiner reports, Liberals on the social media outlet flipped out over the presidents misspelling of Somalia:
Somalia. There is no SOMOLIA. Draft-dodging a**, one person tweeted.

There are 57 States in the OIC - the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Typical leftist become giddy when they see a typo or misspelled word, regardless of the subject or comment. It makes them feel superior when they jump to correct it. But when someone like Pelosi calls Trump Bush not once but multiple occasions, not a peep from these leftist screw worms.
Same as they felt about the intercontinental railroad.
Yeah, Trump made a mistake, he misspelled “Shitholia.”
I forgive him, after him pissing off German Hillary and her Canadian and Fwench girlfriends.
My niece is a rabid California liberal. Her father a career Marine served one tour in WWII, One tour in Korea and three tours in Vietnam. Mark was in the motor pool his entire career and every chance she gets she says his service doesnt count, he would never go along with a real war duty where he had to kill people, which is her way of denying his service to the country. honest to God I could choke her.
There’s plenty of that going on here at Free Republic
He drives up to the gate in a jeep and the guard looks at him with his eyes as wide as saucers. Dad looks at him and asks why the look? The guard stammers "Sarge, you just drove through TWO lanes of machine-gun fire!!!"
The Chinese were in a pitched battle fighting each other across the road. Both sides saw his jeep with the big American Flag and held fire until he passed!
Well, when you grow with ALL of your immediate family, their families, and ALL of their friends and their families avowed and practicing communists, Minsk (USSR) IS their “field of dreams”
They were hoping for a coupe!
Great story! You must be so proud and betting there are even more terrific memories. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe even that Jeep your dad was driving came out of my brother in laws motor pool. Lol
A few, and so many he never told. Typical of his generation.
I would have never known about the China deployment if a co-worker hadn’t taught me a little Chinese. I mentioned it and he said say something in Chinese, I did and he started chattering away to me in Chinese.
“When and where did you learn Chinese? “
“Peking, 1945” was the laconic reply...
Could easily be!
Every Marine a rifleman...
Ironic - we have folks here all too quick to point out spelling/grammar mistakes - maybe they should rethink their “vocation”...
