Yeah, I read the headline too quickly and I thought, "40 oysters? Eight minutes? I wouldn't like it (I prefer steamed clams) but I guess I can see a competitive guy doing it."

Reading more closely: 40 dozen. OMG.

I really like oysters. Raw, on the half-shell.

The only reason I don't eat more is because they are so expensive. Also, I would never eat 40 dozen in one sitting. Two dozen are about enough for me. But I savor them. Might take me a full hour to eat two dozen oysters. Washed down with a nice Belgium ale.
