It’s over, kaput, finished, dead.

Today’s announcement that Miss America will no longer be based on actual beauty is the final radical feminist nail in the coffin of the once much beloved practice of admiring a woman for how she looks.

Instead, we are now apparently going to tune in to appreciate the contestants’ INNER beauty – their intelligence, their philosophy on life and their thoughts on charitable work.

Gretchen Carlson drove the final nail killing the Miss American contest. The funny thing is women are the ones who watch these pageants. I was in LV when they had Miss Universe and the wife and daughters got tickets. The arena was filled with Filipino women rooting for Miss Phillipines. I instead enjoyed the opportunity to play some poker.

If appearance isn't being considered, all contestants should be required to wear the exact same outfit or outfits, if they appear in more than one. Otherwise, those who have the ability to dress themselves in something more revealing, or more appropriate for their coloration, make-up application abilities, etc, will have an advantage.

And, as a matter of fact, the contestants must all not be allowed to wear make-up of any kind. That's something that is for appearance only, correct? It's gotta go then!
