Will PETA claim this was an act of self-defense?

I dunno man, I can see where she is coming from on this.
when I was 20 I beat two kids senseless when I caught them jamming a stick in the ass of a cat. They killed the cat in a horrible way and I have to say that I didn’t plan on stopping my swings if their father didn’t intervene.
So I dunno about this. I really can’t say that animals are outside of my defensive Menu of Services.

I dunno man, I can see where she is coming from on this.Yeah, I doubt the husband was a kind, gentle provider who from time to time beat the family cat.

There was a guy in Dallas County a few years ago. Beat up his girlfriend. Beat up her mother. Then took the cat and threw it off the second floor balcony. The cat was killed when it hit the paved parking lot below.
Acquitted for beating the girlfriend.
Acquitted for beating her mother.
5 years in prison for cruelty to the cat by using a deadly weapon (the pavement of the parking lot).
If she gets the right lawyer and the right jury, she may well walk.

I won’t blame her. No one kicks my dog and lives to tell about it.

I might do something very regrettable if I came upon the same scenario.
I’m an animal lover, and not so much a people lover.

Yep.
There was most likely a LOT more going on in that marriage/home than just kicking the cat...

The cat probably crapped in his shoeThat would be evidence that he previously provoked the cat. "They don't make mistakes. They don't do random"

The cat was a shot caller.
The dude should have paid attention to the MS-13 tattoo on its ear.

I just read this article to my cat and he believes she was fully justified.
To: Diana in Wisconsin
Sounds reasonable to me.
Cats would just be a start, then he moves on to people.
