BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A man and woman from central Florida are facing charges after their 8-month-old baby overdosed on drugs, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities arrested 29-year-old David Williams Chappele Jr. and 27-year-old Jessica Marie Strickland of Cocoa on charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child.
The investigation began in September when deputies responded to a call about an unresponsive baby at a home in Cocoa. The baby died later at the hospital. The medical examiner, according to the sheriff's office, said the baby died from an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl.

Addicts tend to not care about much other than their next fix
I’ve said that many times to people. They think I’m too harsh, but I said dealing drugs is no different than putting a gun to someone and pulling the trigger.
God can make good things happen out of a bad situation. I would tend to agree with your idea.
If they turn their hearts over to Jesus and put God first, they could be powerful testimony to those who would follow what they did.

If they were not, then yes, they would need to fix themselves before they could help others.
People addicted to fentanyl can handle many many times more of the drug than normal people. They put strips on their skin. Maybe they had strip on their skin and then held the baby after. Even a little dot of the stuff might kill baby

I’m blessed or cursed with a tester 150 ish IQ and recall that’s scary....I’m difficult to live with and endure. I know a lot about drug addicts and drunks even though I myself haven’t smoked snorted dropped or drank anything since mid 80s....my drug of choice is poontang and I’m hopelessly in its demonic clutches
