I will call to thank her. This ruling will result in the end of autonomy for “social media.” Now their Terms of Use can be adjudicated and regulated like other public utilities.
Hanging up on people is basically what Trump wants to do by blocking unwanted Twitter followers imo. Insights welcome.
AWESOME DUDE! libtards are hypocrites arent they?
“On February 12, 1999, Buchwald was nominated by President Bill Clinton to a seat on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York vacated by Miriam G. Cedarbaum.”
Oh well, I guess it’s not all bad. After all they kept in in the “family, a Socialist Cedarbaum replaced by a Socialist Buchwald! But then, it’s New York, so it’s kinda what you expect!
Wondering if Judgie has a twitter account of her own?
(heh-heh...)

Leftists, like Children, are just a hoot to watch grow up.
I guess the problem is, with children there’s still a chance.
Can’t the President simply “mute” people and just ignore these people rather than blocking them entirely?
Just shadow ban them like Twitter does to conservatives.
You are a stupid twit! (Not a personal attack, just an observation.) If this ruling applies to the President, it applies to everyone. There is already a Supreme Court ruling (1953) on whether a privat company operating a public facility can restrict free speech.
You must listen to me. The first amendment says so!
We have read Alinsky.
We can now give back as good as we get.
They apparently don’t like it very much.
The next thing we’ll see is a judge issue and injunction against trolls getting the FR Zot!
Ignore her and let her issue a citation or some such nonsense. It will only further foment the feeling that big government is out to get him and will do the same to others, too.
That just means he has to block them because they're @ssholes ... right?
So a PRIVATE Twitter account owner has no control over who to allow comment on their account?!
What authority ?
The judge herself seems to be hiding behind a firewall - only a phone number, no way - that I could see - to contact via twitter or email. And a phone number is restricted to office hours and a very limited number of messages.
The problem with this ruling is that it deprives Trump of a forum to express his thoughts.
If he continues with Twitter, he has to allow completely unmonitored responses, including falsehoods and propraganda and all manner of offensive content.
He should appeal it.
Alternatively he should find a forum that doesn’t allow comments at all. Block everybody, if he can’t be selective.
Alternatively, he may be able to post certain rules. And violation of those rules get you blocked. He wouldn’t be able to block criticisms, but perhaps obscenities, or off topic comments. If he could show a court that he is adhering to a set of rules and not blocking criticism, then that might work.
Excellent!!
