Since every remake of a movie or TV show has all the white people replaced by some PC approved minority or female I’m not gonna watch and I believe this show will go down in flames as fast as the Hindenburg.
I do have to admit I loved the remake of Battlestar Gallactica but it took me a long time to get into Starbuck being a woman.

Now that I have the British streaming services, I never need to watch US TV again. The British mysteries and dramas have actors who look like real people, not just size zero from 18-35 years old, and include roles for Indians, Americans and other European nations without a feeling of political correctness or tokenism.
Script writers ought to be ashamed - very ashamed - that they cannot come up with original material these days, that they must just re-package previously successful shows.

As for the casting, it looks like a trend to change up originals.
The reboot of Charmed has 3 sisters — one part black, one part hispanic, and one caucasian. [Apparently, Mama Witch got around.] The preview clip I saw did not look that interesting.
This one will probably flop.
