This thread is a friendly collaborative place for FReepers to analyze information and share opinons. FReepers have a wide variety of reasons for investigating Q Anon content; this is not the appropriate place to criticize or badger those who choose to use some of their time in this manner.

Q "drops" (i.e., posts) can be read with their original formatting on various websites. Sometimes the Q drop websites come under cyber attack or stop updating. This week, I've been using the following link:

Q drops (i.e., posts) often use unfamiliar acronyms. Swordmaker maintains a list of acronymsto help FReepers understand Q drop text. My college physics Professor took me aside and gave me a talk after our first quiz and I made a 0..my husband the semester before Aced the class. He told me I reminded him of his daughter going through nurses training. Physics will mean nothing to me after college and if I showed up for every class and tried, he would pass me. I didn't miss a class. I Aced Shakespeare and European Literature that same semester.(Magnus effect?)

Spokesman for Operation Inherent Resolve Army Col. Ryan Dillon tweeted on Thursday that Iraq captured five key ISIS leaders as part of Operation Roundup. The tweet did not specify when or where the five were captured, nor give any names.

Dillon’s tweet said the capture was a coordinated operation between Iraqi and the US backed Syrian Democratic Forces.

That wasn’t my question. I am very familiar with Plato, the dialogues, Plato’s Republic and with some of the “introduction to Philosophy” comments made about Plato and Socrates. I am very familiar with who Plato says Socrates was. I am not familiar with any writings of Socrates. It sounded like you and Cletus were privy to information I was unaware of.

Socrates did not write anything that I am aware of. Anything attributed to him is through Plato. Anything after Plato begins with Aristotle. There were thinkers before Plato and his ‘mentor’ Socrates.

IIRC Thales is credited as the first Philosopher. A bit later comes a name almost everyone is familiar with, which is Hipprocates. Some say he was a philosopher other just stop and say he was the father of medicine. Regardless, he was just prior to Socrates/Plato and his name is used in the title of the medical doctor’s Hippocratic oath.
