Monday on Fox News Channels Hannity, host Sean Hannity lobbied Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to respond to Congress requests for documents regarding the probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Hannity addressed Sessions directly on the issues of urgency and respect for the federal constitutional system of government.
Mr. Attorney General, I say this with all respect: Where is your urgency? You need to do your job, Hannity said. This has gone on way too long. These are legitimate, important requests. You are not impervious, nor the DOJ impervious, to the rule of law and our federal system, co-equal branches of power and checks and balances.

Exactly. Just as we held that Hillary enabled Bill the rapist, we also need to focus on the Senate enabling treason.
Why doesn’t Session’s offices leak?
Why do you think that’s true?
The night that Sessions went to dinner with Rosenstein after Trump had criticized Rosenstein was a finger in Trump’s face.
There was no defense of the miserable traitor Sessions after that.
Sean is on the right track. His train is stationary, though. The checks and balances of which he speaks have a mechanism that can and should be deployed if the case arises. In this case, that mechanism is funding. Congress's check against another branch usurping its power is funding.
If Republicans had any gonads, they'd defund the investigation.
So, kudos to Sean for calling out Sen. Sleepy, but he should also be kicking Paul Ryan in the ass.
But, as we all know, that's not going to happen. As usual, demonicRATS have been waging war against Republicans for 50 years or more while Republicans don't want to face the fact that they are at war or are simply too timid to use the power at their disposal to defeat their enemy.
Or worse, they are actually rooting for the opposition.
We should refer to them as Gen. Meade Republicans.
Did you not read the letter from DOJ to Nunes dates May 3 and released Sunday?
I have to figure they confronted Sessions with something he doesnt want made public. He has been effectively sidelined by a file in someones lower desk drawer.
He cant do his job and he dare not resign.
What has Sessions done for Trump or for justice in America since he’s been in office? Virtually nothing. I realize he’s a Swamp creature who spent too much time in DC politics, but its still astonishing (and highly suspect) to witness someone who is so invisible and does so little.
If Republicans had any gonads, they’d defund the investigation.

That, unfortunately, is a key point in this whole fiasco. The investigation easily could have been challenged and stopped by the Republican congress ON MANY GROUNDS. Instead, they did nothing and refused to support their president.
The Republican congress is a basket of deplorables.

“I know the Russia Collusion crap is important. “
It’s fiction just like global warming.
Trump bears the responsibility for allowing Sessions to oversee this assault upon the constitution.

It is kind of ironic that the man who is so well known for saying “you’re fired” has been so reluctant to remove disloyal obstructors from key positions.
Unfortunately, leaving these people in office has had consequences for him and the country.
Trump could make a Recess Appointment to replace Sessions during the Memorial Day Break. That appointment would be good for a year.
YES!
The first time that I saw Sessions campaigning with DJT I thought, wow that takes courage, thinking that Sessions was probably taking a lot of heat for stepping outside of the establishment. My respect for him sky rocketed.
Now I look at him and wonder what was it all about? The only answer I can come up with is that he was a plant right from the start.
Trump is loyal to a fault and this has to be “killing” him. I can’t even look at Sessions without seething rage. Enemies you can take and understand, but traitors? I despise him.
Has he done anything as AG?
So far, Sessions has been a good “insurance policy” for the Deep State cabal.
In light of what just happened to Schneiderman I don’t think so anymore.
Please. There is no Silent Executioner. It’s a figment of the trust Sessions cheerleaders.
Yes, it is fiction.
BUT what is important are the crimes that it was conjured upon and the criminals who projected it.
Those MUST be fully exposed and they must be removed and punished for them. There are no excuses for what they did.
