Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity lobbied Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to respond to Congress’ requests for documents regarding the probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Hannity addressed Sessions directly on the issues of urgency and respect for the federal constitutional system of government.
“Mr. Attorney General, I say this with all respect: Where is your urgency? You need to do your job,” Hannity said. “This has gone on way too long. These are legitimate, important requests. You are not impervious, nor the DOJ impervious, to the rule of law and our federal system, co-equal branches of power and checks and balances.”

I have one big question over all these Documents the Congress has requested. As the Chief Executive, President Trump could order the DOJ to turn over to Congress all the documents they have requested without redaction by simply declassifying them. Why he hasn’t done this is mystifying. Anybody out there in FR Land have an answer?
I know the Russia Collusion crap is important. In my opinion, Sessions has some serious serious structural issues within the Federal court system.
Rogue elements of Federal Prosecutors have a history of incredible dishonesty. There are a number of such cases that I could list that are quietly being “examined”.
It is TIME to have a serious thoughtful reorganization of the entire Federal Court system. Purges of idiots and criminals must take place.
So I think (only my opinion), that Sessions is doing more than we see, but it is like dipping the ocean with a tea cup.
Sessions needs to divide the problem. Put someone in charge of making the list of idiots and criminals in each of the branches: FBI, DOJ and Federal Courts.
That may be what the IG is now doing. The promise us some reports soon.
I have worked on projects that are so large that it takes literally years to fix. Nothing like what he faces, it might take decades.
Jeff Sessions is a great man, but a poor administrator. He’s been an incredibly pathetic AG.

I don’t think it is really mystifying at all. I think Trump knows that if he gets involved that he will have 24/7 coverage complaining that Trump is putting a heavy hand trying to “extort” and intimidate the DOJ and Trump’s OWN AG.
Look at how the leftist media always mentions that both Comey and Mueller are “Republicans.” They have established the narrative that even republicans think Trump broke the law.
I have been furious with Hannity for criticizing the DOJ but never Sessions, well finally Hannity is asking the right question.

The problem with replacing Sessions is that Trump’s choice to succeed him will be held up endlessly in the Senate. Meanwhile, the assistant AG, Rosenstein, will be in charge. I am afraid Trump may have to wait and see how the Senate shakes out after the November elections before he can make a move.

It appears more and more that Sessions was a Deep State plant from the start. NOBODY could be that weak and ineffective unless it was intentional. The worst part of all this is that Sessions is letting Rosenweasel be the defacto AG.
If Sessions had any honor at all, he would resign immediately. Unfortunately, that won’t happen. He will force Trump to fire him.
